DragonBall games sales

Post by Super Saiyajin Luffy » Mon Oct 24, 2011 1:55 pm

I'm really interested, how the past DB games selled.
Could someone post up a list with the major DB games???

I'm interested especially in these games:
every Dimps DBZ game
every Spike DBZ game
Super DBZ
DragonBall Xenoverse Fighting Mechanics breakdown
The DragonBall Xenoverse pre-release Q&A and general information post
Rukura about Sparking Omega wrote:I'm imagining people from Namco Bandai looking at these big sites talking about the announcement and them going "Wait....what?! Did we do that? Are we doing that? *turns to Spike* Are you people doing that?"
DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

Are you looking for worldwide sales data? If so, I can't help you as I don't have access to North America's NPD charts, nor the numbers for the European charts. Someone might bring up VGChartz, but I'd rather not bring in speculation ...

If you want Japanese sales data, I can help with that since that's public knowledge.

Edit: Found 'em on the magic box. They're around a million a pop o:

Yes, the first number is first week. The second is life time to date sales. Though the last 2 Spike games are just the units sold in 2010.

I'm guessing you didn't read my post? :?

I could make up sales data that's likely more accurate than most of the thing's you'll find on VG Chartz.

They are mostly speculative. VG Chartz uses past numbers and speculation based on consumer reception to give a ball park estimate on how something is doing. They are usually never 100% and if you pay close attention the numbers constantly change.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?
