Classic Dragon Ball NEP Music

Post by Ashura » Sun Nov 06, 2011 2:55 am

I'm extremely unfamiliar with the 100s of Dragonball CDs, so I'm hopeful someone can help me here. I'm curious, does this happen to exist anywhere? Be it on a CD or someone somehow pulling it off of a disk somewhere? It's a mix of Mysterious Adventure, but it's not the instrumental one on the BGM collection I have.

Unfortunately, no, it is not on any CD. :(

Aww man. Have any of the music wizards here managed to piece it together by any chance?

Isn't this it?

It's on the 5-CD Daizenshû set.

It's been a while since I've heard the next episode preview, and I can't find one to watch anywhere... It at least sounds similar.

Unfortunately, it's similar to that, but that's not it. :(

Here's the NEP for episode 1. I'm hoping someone knowledgeable like Kei might know something.

The first few episodes of DB had a straight instrumental of "Makafushigi Adventure" as the NEP music. But starting with episode 6 or 7 or so, they had music that sounds like what jpdbzrulz4sure linked. I'm pretty sure the second version is used through the end of the series, but I haven't seen the later episodes with previews in a long time (even though I have them on DVD now...).

I don't know if the first version was ever released on CD (at least as a 30 second track), but I'm 99% sure what he linked is the second version.
