$54.11 total as BestBuy.com

It's back ordered, but as soon as It's available it will be shipped straight to me.

They are getting more shipped in for the Christmas season.

Amazon still has plenty of the rest of them, and next Friday they will be purchased and shipped to me soon.

Lame that everyday for like a week I'm checking Amazon.com for DBox 2, and they had new ones for under $60 unitl the day i got my debit card and got paid. Boom, they all gone except for the ridiculous ones for $150.

Bestbuy will have more in stock soon. Nov, 15-21 it will be here and I will let y'all know when it gets here.

I'll be ordering the last DBox on Friday or Saturday from Amazon. Then I'll finally have all of DBZ!

I have no plans to! The high price DBox 2 is selling for is tempting, but this is the first time I'll ever have all of DBZ on DVD. I won't let it go for quite awhile.

Uh... no it's not.
And... they only have six left. Not gone, but close to.

Volume 2 came in the mail today and volumes 5-7 came by UPS. Today I completed my Dragon Box collection.

I'm still waiting for my last volume to arrive which should be within two weeks, considering where I live. Could have gotten express shipping but I was too cheap.

Amazon really blew me away. I have the two-day Prime shipping, and I orderd the last three sets yesterday afternoon and they arrived around noon today. I couldn't believe they got here so fast. Makes for a nice weekend to have all the sets on top of my computer desk now. :P

I had 5-day shipping and ordered on Tuesday and all 3 came today! So, I'm really pleased. Finally, all 291, in DBOX format. I never have to buy the original DBZ ever again. I have GT already. Just gotta get the movies and the original DB and Kai/the new OVA's/specials (if they ever get released).

I'm going to be buying Dragon-Box 7 next Friday, I hope they don't run out of stock. Do you guy's think I'll be safe? :(

I just bought volume five, so that makes 3/7. I'll buy volume 3, 6 or 7 (As If I could afford volume 2 on Amazon) tomorrow or the next day, so that makes 4/7. Really the only worry I have is getting volume 2 cheap, specifically on Amazon being I have a lot of credits that's added up there. I'm not too worried about the others, I'm sure they'll be selling well into early next year (January-February). Though I have a suspicion there won't be much stock after Christmas, but that's just me.

See? Pretty good idea on their part. I think that they made a smart move with this. I'm sure they figured that if people didn't buy the Dragon Boxes until now, that they probably won't for a long time, so with their new product on the way, and knowing that a lot of people aren't satisfied with the Season Sets, they decide to pull the plug, and just look how much money people are suddenly spending just to own it. Smart business move, shitty on the consumer.

Well, who wouldn't want to own the whole set of something? Whether they were hard to find or could be found at the Dollar Tree, eventually I would of wanted all of the Dragon Boxes. :P

I sure as hell hope BestBuy comes through with their promise and delivers my Dragon Box 2 b/t Nov. 14-21. I hope they don't just think they are going to get more, but know they are. I am going to call them later in the week and find out.

Friday I shall order all the other 6 boxes from Amazon since I get paid that day. I have no doubt all of them will be available, unlike DragonBox 2 last week... which was available for under $60 every day until the day I was able to buy it...of course...

I know this site caused some peeps to buy them before I could... :(

If it comes to it, and Best Buy truly doesn't know whether or not they will get more DBox 2's, I will have to spend the ridiculous amount of $130 for the Dragon Box 2. Worth it, but still...$54.11 is so much better!!!!

I'll just have to pray to the DBZ gods...

I'm not entirely sure, but I was once following an oop item on BestBuy's website out of curiosity, and it was listed as backordered, and that it would ship within 1-3 weeks or something like that.

For about a month or two I watched it, and then they completely removed the items listing. It was surely listed as that for longer as well, as the item had been oop for several months prior to me finding BestBuy's listing of it.

I can't say for certain, but that may be a generic out of stock status on their site before they remove the listing altogether after knowing they won't be getting more.

Hmmm....

When you say oop, what do you mean? Out of print?

Considering this, I may just have to dish out the cash and buy the Dragon Box 2 at it's ridiculous price of over $130 at Amazon.

I just hope it stays that low until I can buy it....

Thanks for letting me know this btw.

Another thought, I love that this site is active with a plethora of DBZ fans who know what's up. These Dragon Boxes are sacred to us fans of the true and original version of DBZ, and I can only hope that not only me, but everyone who desires to see DBZ in it's purest form, have the opportunity to own all seven of the Dragon Boxes.

Yes, I meant out of print.

Also, don't buy Dragon Box 2 at its inflated price. As TonyTheTiger stated, that's just the exploitative initial out of print rush going on, which is an attempt to get people who are panicking to irrationally purchase these sets at highly inflated prices. If they don't sell at these prices, then they will go down. In the end, an item's value is only marked by the price people are willing to pay for it.

You should be able to get the set used for a much lower price of (I'm guessing) around $40-$50 if you wait patiently.

Good point.

Although I would much prefer a new DBox2, waiting to see if these inflated prices for the new ones go down seams to be worth it. Heck, a used one that is "like new" would be worth buying at the third of the price for these overpriced new ones.

My worst fear is that they ( Dragon Box 2 ) will be completely unavailable in the future, especially after the new year. I WILL NOT wait until after x-mas to complete my DBox collection. I will have the DBZ anime in it's purest form. That is my #1 goal right now.

Long live DBZ!!!!!

Got Dragon Box 2 for $56.49 after tax at best buy today! Started my collection!

The shrink wrap is in terrible shape. Scratches everywhere as they've had this one since release day. The actual box underneath the shrink wrap is perfectly fine though!
