@Saiga
Where are you getting all that information from?

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The comments section of the website, random things he posted and linked to. Some of it is pretty old, I wouldn't be able to find it again, sorry. He posted a tier thing as well, having SSj1 - SSj7 tiers or something like that, but I can't remember the details.dbgtFO wrote:@Saiga

This is the part about Freeza, it's in French and Google translate does a terrible job at it. Scroll down until you see the picture of Salagir.

Hmm... Didn't realize you weren't talking about the DBM site.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The link was in the comments, if that webpage didn't come out right I now have a better link.rereboy wrote:Hmm... Didn't realize you weren't talking about the DBM site.
And the comments on this page talks about Salagir's view on the Oozaru power up, however there is nothing from Salagir himself (apparently he voiced his opinions in the french comments).
And the comments around that area say that Salagir considers the multipliers after the first SSj to be 10, and SSj1 is still a 50x multiplier so I was wrong.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
It's just really ridiculous to have Freeza's max be about half a million while his father is apparently around Android 16. It would be much easier to swallow that somehow a horde of Oozaru and a magically powered up Bardock manage to kill Freeza somehow.
Nothing Salagir does is especially complicated, certainly not moreso than half the ass pulls Toriyama did himself. So playing with so many details in an attempt to get it to "make sense" or something is pointless. It would "make sense" just fine without the excessive doctoring. The screwiness of the changes to Freeza does far more harm than a simple "yeah, the Saiyans were able to win somehow" could ever do.

LOL, I hate seeing people making up theories based on translation errors, like the one Salagir makes now with the French manga...
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

530,000. Close, but a little off.DragonBalllKaiHD wrote:520,000 (correct me if I'm wrong)
Well, this universe is different than the one where the Colds' rule the universe.TonyTheTiger wrote:It's just really ridiculous to have Freeza's max be about half a million while his father is apparently around Android 16. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I was under the impression that the differences among the universes were based on actual events or choices that changed the direction of the timeline like Back to the Future. Not that they are randomly different just because. And if Freeza is significantly weaker in U3 than in U8 that would violate that basic principle. It's not the same as U10 Vegeta being weaker than U18 Vegeta because in that case Vegeta's path took him down a very different road. From what it looks like here, U3 Freeza and U8 Freeza are essentially the same up to this point except one lives and one dies.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
That's exactly the case. The universes differ because of choices made, so if U3 Freeza is only 530,000 max at his max, than so is U8 and U13.TonyTheTiger wrote:I was under the impression that the differences among the universes were based on actual events or choices that changed the direction of the timeline like Back to the Future. True. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I accept this. Thumbs up.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I could wonder about how likely it is that Freeza's spaceship is in a good enough spot to see a full moon, but that sounds nitpicky even to me.
So, not bad.

Wasn't Hanasia suppose to take out the ship's engine, not transform into giant monkey?

Seconded! THis is acrually a really good page. I like it... but I still want some tits and now this may be the chance as long as she lives to be in her Sapient form again!TonyTheTiger wrote:I accept this. Thumbs up.
