I think they should make a movie about Vegeta and Qui's rivalry. I always thought that was underdeveloped.

Re: Kai Movies - Yay or Nay?
Looks more like fanart to me.It doesn't need to capture Toriyama's multiple styles. Toei's been doing that for twenty years. Yamamuro is now forming his own new era for the franchise's art. There isn't much point in trying to copy Toriyama's art absolutely perfectly, panel-for-panel, a second or third time. The current stuff Yamamuro supervises is refreshing for that very reason, it sets itself apart from what has come before without being completely unfamiliar.
My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada

Someone is not educated and tries to play smart without knowing what he's talking about it. Kai is being broadcasted in Brazil, France, Mexico, Korea, Thailand, and Spain as well, plus I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple of contries. Internationally, in overall, it is actually doing bad. Quite bad compared to how DBZ did at its time, and it is not regarded too highly; in Italy they're not even gonna bother importing it.[/quote]DragonBalllKaiHD wrote:There's only one international broadcast of Dragonball Kai, and that would be U.S. Kai is doing extremely well here. It's a 2nd revival of DBZ.
That is most certain accurate answer, Sangofe. I honestly don't know how DBKHD came to that conclusion (maybe he's only aware of the Eng dub?).
Information about the countries dubbing Dragon Ball Kai can be found here: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... p?id=10877
1. Chinese (Taiwan)
2. English (American / FUNimation)
3. French
4. Japanese
5. Korean
6. Portuguese (Brazilian)
7. Spanish (Catalán)
8. Spanish (Mexicano)
9. Tagalog (Spoken by Philippines)
I was told that there'll be a Spanish (Castellano) dub of Dragon Ball Kai by Selecta Visión but no official date release. Is the Canadian company Ocean Studios dubbing DB Kai?
So then, two more to add to the list, supposedly.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:

I guess the only logical response to this is:dbboxkaifan wrote:Someone is not educated and tries to play smart without knowing what he's talking about it.
Someone is being rude to their fellow fans with backhanded comments and should probably re-read the rules that they agreed to prior to registration.
Seriously? That's how you're going to open a post? Please take a step back and re-read what you're writing before you actually go forward with it. If you are unable to politely converse with the rest of the community, then this is not the place for you.

Re: Kai Movies - Yay or Nay?
Eh... I only assumed because I haven't heard the other countries broadcast Kai, with U.S. the only country other than Japan to air Kai. Actually I knew something was going on with Mexican dubbing company via EX's homepage update a few months ago, but I haven't heard they actually went and air it yet. Or maybe I'm missing it.sangofe wrote:Someone is not educated and tries to play smart without knowing what he's talking about it. But... I would love more Dragonball regardless if it's via DB, DBZ, DBZ K or yes, even DBGT - an OVA about Goku and Vegeta Jr. wouldn't be displeasing.

You say that as if traditional cell animation is still on the table. As long as it looks as good as the Episode of Bardock adaptation, I'm game; that's as good as I realistically expect the animation to be though.Savage68 wrote:I was open to this idea up until you mentioned the neo computerized shiny-mation. As for what to make the movie about... I vote for an adaptation of Who Wants to be a Super Hero.
This will never not be my sig:
VegettoEX wrote:"Snoop Lion" is just a character he's playing for his reggae album and documentary. Him saying that it's his new name is all part of the character.
I can't believe this is on-topic.

I'd like some new movies. I wouldn't like the existing movies to be remade in Kai style.

That Bardock adaptation is precisely the type of thing I had in mind when I made that post. I dislike nearly everything about the way it looks and moves.Sun-Wukong wrote:You say that as if traditional cell animation is still on the table. I'm pretty much for anything new Dragon Ball related at this point. Even if the feature is complete balls, there's always something good that comes out of it.
