AgitoZ, thanks for the clarification.
I would've preferred "Mr. Mark" for Mr. Satan than "Hercule" on Nicktoons censored edition. Well, once I get DBZ Kai Blu-rays Parts 7 & 8, this annoying dubtitle will be gone.
This is something we won't see once Dragon Ball Kai ends >

Mr. Satan and Majin Boo together celebrating.
I've already seen all 98 episodes but the English dub is still ongoing.

Funi's been calling him "Mr. Satan" on just about all of their uncut releases since he first started appearing. I remember, at first they tried to call him "Hercule Satan" back when the Great Saiyaman VHS tapes were coming out.
Anyway, the main reporter with the glasses and the mic needs to sound more excited.

I'm watching these episodes and man...the editing and cuts are just REALLY sloppy. Did Toei just not care at this point?
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I find that Toei seems to care more for their Tokusatsu (Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and even bringing back the Metal Heroes with Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs Space Sheriff Gavan in January) than their animated work. It always seemed like they put more effort into those live action attempts.
That said, even silly edits aside, I can't deny, we needed Kai (Japan didn't, but that's another story).

Episode 89 is now on Nicktoons website:

Alright, was it just my imagination but at the beginning of the episode Daemon Clarke sounded a bit off as Cell. At one point it sounded like he was just reading off of the script. Sean Schemmel sounded really good this episode as did Chris as Mr. Satan. I am warming up to the News Reporters voice as well.
Now I need to get this off of my chest about the Kikuchi music (I do enjoy the Kikuchi score in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z). I am really glad there is only nine more episodes left of Kai on Nicktoons. I don't know how much more of this repetitive track(s) I can possibly take. It never really bothered me much before but these past few weeks the music has really been grating on my nerves.
Anyways, I am looking forward to the episode when Gohan finally steps into the ring.

I cringed at Schemmel's Goku when he was yelling for the others to get away from the ring, but otherwise he did fine.
I actually quite enjoy how the Kikuchi music was used in this episode. Each piece fit perfectly where it was used.

Yeah, we're on Cell's saga and the BGM is from Cell so it fits perfectly.
Episode 95 of Dragon Ball Z Kai, where Gokû decides to give up his life, the BGM placement is amazing.

I just noticed Kuririn saying, "This is nuts!" in tonight's episode.
Mondo cool, right?

Oh, so he's a little colloquial. Big deal. "This is nuts" is nowhere near as out of character as mondo cool... it's an expression of shock usually. Granted, I don't know the context, but that doesn't sound bad to me.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Yeah...I really don't see what the problem is at all.

In comparison the "Internet Connection / Put a socket in it!!" and "This is Nuts" is better than "That's right boys, Mondo Cool".
"That's right boys, Mondo Cool" < cheesy but funny.

What's the big deal about it? It's a common saying and there's nothing to get nitpicky about it.

If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Scientist's agonize over the attempt to achieve perfection! That's the kind of creatures we are! There isn't a big deal. It's just complaints to stir some people up, and that's my opinion.

It seems like we have another break incoming after episode 91.
Only 7 episodes left after that

They really should have aired 92, and then a break.

Yup ...
Oh well..
I just watched episode 89 and I noticed the longest cut ever on nicktoons

Lasting nearly 1 and a half minutes. During the scene were Goku and Cell just start hitting each other like crazy near the end of the episode. And the scene that comes after that , where Bulma arrives at Roshi's place are all cut .....

Didn't Toonami air new episodes five days a week?
Kinda disappointed they're taking ANOTHER break, but I guess it could mean they're planning on a Christmas marathon or something.

I don't live in US so I wasn't aware of that, but DBZ was 291 episodes in total and DBK is only 98 which means will end pretty quickly if they continue like this. And then just re-runs for the viewers.
I'm very excited for DBZ Kai 92, where Gohan SSJ2 screams!
