Can someone put the VOL3 scans in a link other than Mediafire? Mediafire won't open here..

Re: Fanmanga - another DBAF
I thought the SSJ3 Goten looked familiar... saw this manga already a while ago, haha. The beginning is just too cliche for my liking. Makes me think of AF. I remember it had Goten who was going to university and some stuff about Great Saiyaman 3...? I think... Too long..
It was shot down pretty quickly by us Chinese fans.

Could someone re-post the edited Volume 1 link?

Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I have the same basic opinions that everyone else does. Lame story, awesome art. Except I don't care if it's traced or not. My biggest problem with the art is Ize's design.

Hi,
New update on Young Jijii's blog:
http://blog.livedoor.jp/youngjijii/
I'll wait for Herms, but it seems Young Jijii's working on a remake of the first two Volumes for the next summer Comiket.
Btw, Young Jijii has a mixi account.

Mixi is like the Japanese version of facebook, you have to live in Japan and have a japanese cellphone to register.

OK, that starts to get a little annoying, can't he just think an original pose? Is it so hard?

Re: Fanmanga - another DBAF
I don't mind it since it's just fan art and it's not like the person is selling it as a official project. So far with this AF manga, looks like Goku is not the main star which gives other characters like Gohan a chance for once.

Agreed. There are way too many homages in this doujin. Almost every page I read I think to myself "Haven't I seen this before?"DBZGTKOSDH wrote:But they are too many intentional throwbacks...batistabus wrote:I'm pretty sure that's an intentional throwback...
