These would be something I would even get right as they came out. I plan on buying a PS3, or

, a PS4, since it will be a long time until I could afford either, so having them on Blue-Ray, with better picture AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, better sound quality for the Japanese audio, these would be a must buy.
It's called Blu-ray, there's no Blue-ray nor "Blu Ray" or whatever. Ray isn't capitalized.
rs_chaosmaster wrote:Yes i see the next release being a reanimated version of Z done by Toei and in 3d in all honesty. Hopefully I am wrong because that means they will get more money of mine :'(!!! Id rather they do a new dragonball series then rerelease the Dragon Boxes on Blu Ray!!!
3D Dragon Ball would be great but it'd likely be a flop, and Toei doesn't want another flop like Kai, Kai wasn't lucrative.
They may remaster the complete 291 episodes in 1080p HD, but we don't know as of now.
dprez wrote:The Japanese audio is crap compared to the English audio on these level sets, just like in the dragon boxes. Plus the english voice actors signatures are on the inside of the box. If that crap was on my Dragon Boxes, I'd be pissed...
Kei17 sent them [Toei] a presentation of the audio he had (original Japanese broadcast audio) and they probably ignored him, as he never got a response. So muffled is what'll always be, unless Toei starts giving feedback to their fans.
I wouldn't have mind if they included a Dragon Ball character card on each box, but without the English VA's signatures.

I'm sorry but 1.1 is the best quality available...And is definitely not the "same crappy orange brick quality"
And its Blu Ray not Blue-Ray
As for being the best release that's down to opinion and what you prefer - would you rather a more collectable set and one with all the content, if so than yes it is. But. for the best quality it
is 1.1.
If you're trying to correct someone at least know how it's properly written.
Blu-ray it is, not Blue-Ray/Blu Ray. Again, there's no capital letter on R to make it "Blu Ray". Blu-ray comes from Blu-ray Disc™ (BD), most commonly known as Blu-ray.
The logo is kind of like this, anyway: b)
That's your opinion, nothing wrong, everyone has one, still,
I'll go with the Dragon Boxes.
I'm not going to eat something I don't like, the same goes for this.
Son Geeko wrote:I pray that they'll release DB in Dragon Box format, I could care less if they release GT and The Movies (the Season Sets and Double Features work fine for me), but please FUNimation please, release a DB Dragon Box!
There's the Dragon Ball GT FUNimation Singles which come with the NEP's and original Japanese cards, so they could skip the original Dragon Ball Dragon Box or Dragon Box of the films.
Not a fan of the Double/Triple Feature sets or blue/orange/green bricks.
By the way, I'd love if they'd include Colleen Clinkenbeard's Gohan SSJ2 character card on Dragon Ball Z Kai Part 8 Blu-ray.

Eesh, still no announcement for Part 7 even.
