What-If Ultimate Gohan fused with SSJ3 Goku
What do you think would happen, if accidentaly Goku went SSJ3, and Gohan wore the Potara?

But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

The fusion would die in less than thirty minutes.
Re: What-If Ultimate Gohan fused with SSJ3 Goku
I am quite not sure. I suppose if during a fusion one saiyan is transformed and the other not it will return to the regular state? Or it will be in a intermediate state (like Gohan showed to Kibito)? Or is it a 50/50 chance of what state the fusion will be on?
In terms of how Gohan power would merge with Goku, I suppose the simpliest explanation is that the fusion would still be able to transform in Super Saiyan to power-up "the Goku part", but with no effect in Gohan's power.

A mutated Black w/ long hair fusion. With a drastically short life span.
He wouldn't be able to transform any further.

If you're referring to the time limit for fusion, then this is Potara ear ring fusion.. there's no time limit.Rocketman wrote:The fusion would die in less than thirty minutes.
Otherwise, I still don't see why he would die. Physical stress from SSJ 3 or something?
Re: What-If Ultimate Gohan fused with SSJ3 Goku
I don't think it matters whether one is transformed or not. The fusion just uses the maximum potential of both halves. Look and power would probably be the same no matter what state Goku would be in.
In any case, it would probably be the strongest being ever, yes, stronger than Vegeto, for sure.

Elder Kaioshin did say not to become SS before fusing because they might be stuck like that, and the transformation's stress could shorten their life. Being stuck as a SS3, even more of a problem...Super Vegito wrote:Otherwise, I still don't see why he would die. Physical stress from SSJ 3 or something?
Re: What-If Ultimate Gohan fused with SSJ3 Goku
SS3 completely drained Goku in less than thirty minutes, is why I said that.
Re: What-If Ultimate Gohan fused with SSJ3 Goku
I don't think he would be stronger than base Vegetto.
Vegetto's SSJ (and further levels, which were never shown) is only for showing off.

SSJ3 Goku > Base Goku
Ultimate Gohan > Base Vegeta.
So:
SSJ3 Goku + Ultimate Gohan > Base Goku + Base Vegeta(Base Vegetto)

Fixed.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:SSJ3 Goku + Ultimate Gohan < Base Goku x Base Vegeta(Base Vegetto)
Re: What-If Ultimate Gohan fused with SSJ3 Goku
How does that work?
Also, I don't understand why it matters what stage Goku is in when this is the potara fusion?

Re: What-If Ultimate Gohan fused with SSJ3 Goku
Because Vegetto is stated in the SEG to be Goku x Vegeta in battle power, and no other Potara fusion we've seen (Elder Kaioshin, Kibitoshin) seem to be a result of such power formula, so I'm assuming it wouldn't be applied on SSJ3 Goku and Ultimate Gohan's fusion either.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Why?hleV wrote:I don't think he would be stronger than base Vegetto.

Sigh... When saying Goku + Vegeta, I wasn't refering to their battle powers.
