ANYWHO ... not sure if you want questions here.
I just wish I would of sent my e-mail question before this Podcast, seemed ideal since you were discussing import CDs. I've always wondered how "DRAGON'98 SPECIAL LIVE" came about (I sent you the track CHA-RA HEAD-CHA-RA off of it a few years ago) after I got it as a gift.
Was this an anniversary of some sort they were celebrating, did they tour Japan?
Anyway, once again, very informative show. I'm always learning something new here. But ... we need to start a fundraiser to get Julian a better mic, though.

This isn't about especially episode 3 podcast, but I have an idea about distribution that could either, or not work; bittorent.
I know it's simple to register an account at trackers like for example pointblank.
This way I'm quite sure you'd get a lot more attention to the podcasts, plus, it would be pretty easy to distribute them.
One problem could be seeders all the time, though.
But I'd suggest to at least concider using Bittorent as distribution medium.

That's not how podcasts work, though.
The RSS feed (the XML file) points to a direct file. Whatever program you use to subscribe to podcasts (be it iTunes or whatever) refreshes the RSS feeds every so often to see if anything new has been added. If it has, it downloads them.
Technically I suppose you could include some kind of MIME type with BitTorrent and such... but that's not exactly universal and it's now how it typically works.
Besides, we're not exactly having any distribution problems right now, or anything.

Sweet! I got quoted! I was hoping for that to happen in a podcast!
Besides that, though, great podcast. The djinn thing was covered and I was really interested in that. I'm glad to know that the Saiyan pronounciation used is likely the right pronounciation outside of Saiya-jin.

Just got to listening to this one now.
I found the whole translation thing very interesting (Even though I knew most of it already, heh).
Where it concerns the new arcade game, shouldn't it be called "suupaa DBZ"?
This promotional thingy has it as furigana of sorts under the "cho" kanji.
Where's the beef?

Great Job on the podcasts, when it comes DB you guys are on top of things, the pronunciation stuff is really helpful for people like me who have to hear it not just read it. I think I have learned more in one at this site then 5 years of prior DBZ knowledge, thank you!

Heh, this was the first Podcast I've listened to. Now I know what I've been missing. Great job, guys. While I gotta say, I loved Makafugushi Adventure 2005, everything else was great. 'Specially the pronoucinations. Amazingly, this whole time I've been pronoucing Budokai as in Buu-duu-kai (Don't ask me why, everyone seemed to pronouce it that way). So great podcast, and I look forward to the rest!
