There's the Dragon Ball GT FUNimation Singles which come with the NEP's and original Japanese cards, so they could skip the original Dragon Ball Dragon Box or Dragon Box of the films.

Not a fan of the Double/Triple Feature sets or blue/orange/green bricks.
If FUNimation ever releases the GT and Movies Dragon Box, I might get it, if they decided to only release one of the two, I would prefer DB. I guess the real only reason why I refuse to get the Blue Bricks is because of the zooming, sorry if that sounds nitpicky I guess It's just that I really prefer having my shows/movies uncropped and unzoomed. Unless FUNimation eithers release DB with the Dragon Box masters or on Blu-Ray unzoomed like they have on they're new DBZ Blu-Rays, I'm not getting the Blue Bricks. :?

A couple of places I believe still have the second set in stock, I've personally just ordered from Toylet a few hours ago.

http://store.toylet.net/fn02241.html (Update: Sold out)
http://www.sakuramedia.com/website04/sh ... e=fn-02241 (Update: Emails bounce back, avoid)

I hope these websites are up to date, I've got my fingers crossed hoping I won't get a email about stock issues!

You probably should not have posted the sites on the forums. It would have been better to state you know of a couple sites still in stock and asked members to PM you.

(Not meant to be rude.) Members like rs_chaosmaster will probably buy every single one before anyone that actually needs it has a chance to buy. :?

Regardless, that stock won't be available for long to anybody; it's funny you mention that and the member who started this thread.

Based on the wording of the email, I believe you bought the last one.

So finally DBOX 2 shipped since my card got billed for the price today. It processed yesterday through the warehouse, but shipped today, which is pretty fast since I chose budget shipping (Well it's gonna be a slow ride from now till it arrives, but I'm happy at least).

Someone needs to Photoshop these into that scene where Freeza is palming the Dragonballs on Namek.

I can understand having doubles, but geez... that's a lot of Dragon Boxes you got there. One set was good enough for me.
I have a Dragon Ball collection of sorts which can be seen here.

Either message me or email me at bjarosh@kent.edu.

Why on earth did you even bother making a topic of trying to get that ONE Dragon Box two from Canada if it looks like you have 6 of them? Were you really just trying to scoop them up from everywhere available? Clearly these aren't for viewing unless you go through Dragonboxes like toilet paper. I have 2 sets one for viewing one for storage. But do tell what impulsed you to try and buy them from everywhere possible.

Looks can be deceiving believe it or not I just got those 6 probably about I would say 5 days after I posted that message!! When no one responded I found my alternate solution. If you dont believe me look at when i posted the topic about me selling the figures!! It was after that and just for some evidence I will tell you exactly how I got them all

1. My action figures sold for $1,500
2. I took half of that money and put it towards these dragon boxes all that are pictures minus 6
3. Got the first copy of two from the set i bought on Ebay on November 20th I believe
won the set for $156.00
4. Won a second set that i had been bidding on November 28, 2011
That set was a little more pricey since it was new $256
5. When I saw the post of the one Dragon Box 2 I saw it had a sticker for an electronics store I had never heard of Fry's
6. After looking into it I found out it was out in CA my friend went to his local stores and found five of them i picked up 3 new ones from him
7. So that makes five Dragon Box 2's
8. I already had one on order from my local Exchange a franchise exclusive to PA, Ohio and I think Chicago. Thing was I forgot I ordered it since it came so late that is the used one that is in that picture

Adding it up I spent
256+156+105+40+40= $597 Wow didn't even realize the amount was that low which for 21 dragon boxes is darn good 6 of them I already had

It was a great assumption and i loved how you implied some things but, incorrect!!

Good Luck on Completing your collection though if you haven't!!!!! :D

But that didn't answer why do you want so many?

EDIT: Don't want to double post but unless someone else asked I really didn't ask HOW as more WHY? So the whole figure thing and how you bought them all didn't answer anything for me.

Oh I explained that before I got the first set for my own viewing pleasure!!! The second set is for emergency purposes. The other sets I am holding on to for friends that i know who like dbz!! And holding one set back for probably 5 years so does that answer the question just thought it was an awesome picture but if I would have realized how much grief I would get for posting it I would have not put it on!!! Actually I think I am going to remove it right now!!!

Good Luck on completing whatever set is your desired release for Z though!!!

I thought I was paranoid about scratches and whatnot.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

Considering the growing rarity of "Dragon Box 2", I can sort of understand that "paranoia".
I'm still really glad I completed my collection before the discontinuing of the sets. 17 episodes per set seems a little... small for me. Regardless of the overall better picture quality (and audio quality to a small extent), I just could not see myself being patient enough to wait for the Blu-ray's complete run, nor could I see myself collecting them as the run goes along, so I'm glad I didn't stall and got the Dragon Boxes. Though I kind of feel bad for anyone who will not be able to complete their Dragon Box collection, in all honesty. Especially those who were close to finishing. Now that only third-party sellers are available at mostly high prices, it seems that some people will have spent all that money on the Dragon Boxes just to leave an empty hole preventing the completion. If that were to happen to me I would sell all my current Dragon Boxes and started collecting the Blu-rays (since I don't like owning incomplete releases, which is a reason I opted out of purchasing the UUE's regardless of the Mexican dub track, which I love so much).
So mondo lame.

I don't even have any of the Dragon Boxes...

I was going to get Box 7 just so I have the last one but decided against it since I'm getting the Viz Big's for Christmas.
