I wouldn't call Bulma immoral. Yes, she starts out as a jerk, but she gets better. Okay, because giving your bra size to a total stranger and then showing off your boobs at the age of 16 totally isn't immoral.Master Blaster wrote:I wouldn't call Bulma immoral. why should it be? it's her body. she do whatever she wants with it.DBZ Mick wrote:Okay, because giving your bra size to a total stranger and then showing off your boobs at the age of 16 totally isn't immoral.

That's an invalid argument when talking about what's immoral and what's not.Fin wrote:why should it be? it's her body. she do whatever she wants with it.DBZ Mick wrote:Okay, because giving your bra size to a total stranger and then showing off your boobs at the age of 16 totally isn't immoral.

Yes, she does that in the beginning of the manga. But she stops behaving like that after some time.funrush wrote:Okay, because giving your bra size to a total stranger and then showing off your boobs at the age of 16 totally isn't immoral.

Maybe "immoral" was too strong a word then. But bedding a mass-murderer is still bad.Master Blaster wrote:I wouldn't call Bulma immoral. Yes, she starts out as a jerk, but she gets better. To be honest, I never really understood the Bulma/Vegetta relationship. My personal interpretation was always, that Vegetta stays a bad guy until late in the Buu saga. The only reason he doesn't kill the other Z fighters before that is, that they're all weaker than him anyway and all he really cares about is to beat up Goku.Piccolo Daimao wrote:Maybe "immoral" was too strong a word then. Why Bulma starts a relationship with him in the first place? I don't know, but maybe she did it to piss of Yamcha.

Re: How does Goku really feel about Chi-Chi?
In the Cell arc, it seemed to just be more of a one-night stand thing, since Vegeta doesn't bother saving Bulma and Trunks from Gero and Bulma calls him a jerk that she wouldn't live with. But somehow, over those 7 years, she grew to love him, and Vegeta grew to love her, although I think it was more because of Trunks, considering his bonding with him during training him to defeat Goku's sons.Master Blaster wrote:To be honest, I never really understood the Bulma/Vegetta relationship. My point was, if Bulma does with her body whatever she wants, that doesn't necessary mean it's moral.Fin wrote: um... okay? can i have an argument about why it is immoral?

i know. i just haven't heard a reason why it's immoral either.hleV wrote:My point was, if Bulma does with her body whatever she wants, that doesn't necessary mean it's moral.Fin wrote: um... okay? can i have an argument about why it is immoral?

What is immoral or not varies from person to person, but the reasons some people may think that what she does with her body is immoral is because they believe that she's "selling" her body by flashing it to random strangers just because she thinks they're hot. Furthermore, after the first arc, she's doing this all while in a relationship with Yamcha, whom she has the audacity to accuse of cheating.Fin wrote:i know. i just haven't heard a reason why it's immoral either.hleV wrote:My point was, if Bulma does with her body whatever she wants, that doesn't necessary mean it's moral.Fin wrote: um... okay? can i have an argument about why it is immoral?

yeah, i'd agree that doing that stuff when she's involved with yamcha would count as immoral. i just don't see who she was hurting earlier on (except those instances where she was prepared to betray her friends i guessPiccolo Daimao wrote:What is immoral or not varies from person to person, but the reasons some people may think that what she does with her body is immoral is because they believe that she's "selling" her body by flashing it to random strangers just because she thinks they're hot. Yeah, I agree. And she was a teenager. But I'm just saying that some people would find that immoral.Fin wrote:yeah, i'd agree that doing that stuff when she's involved with yamcha would count as immoral. i just don't see who she was hurting earlier on (except those instances where she was prepared to betray her friends i guessPiccolo Daimao wrote:What is immoral or not varies from person to person, but the reasons some people may think that what she does with her body is immoral is because they believe that she's "selling" her body by flashing it to random strangers just because she thinks they're hot. Okay, when did this discussion get turned into a discussion about Bulma's morality? And her body?
Re: How does Goku really feel about Chi-Chi?
Why is this even being discussed? Of course he loves her. Goten and Gohan being around is proof enough.
90% of dragonball fans detest dragonballgt. If you are one of the 10% who like GT, post this in your signature.

While I am in agreement that Goku obviously loves Chi-Chi, having children doesn't automatically mean you love them. Some others here just don't see any implied attraction or signs that he loves her.MajinKing wrote:Why is this even being discussed? Of course he loves her. I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!
Re: How does Goku really feel about Chi-Chi?
Like I said before, I believe he loves her in his own way, but is not in love with her. And yes, physical attraction does not automatically mean love.
It does seem that he doesn't differentiate between the importance of "wife" and "friend", meaning I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he cares about Krillin or Bulma as much as he cares about Chichi.

Re: How does Goku really feel about Chi-Chi?
Chichi to Goku= Food.

I do think he loves her though. There's some sweet scenes in the Cell and Boo arcs between them if I remember right.

It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.
Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

Re: How does Goku really feel about Chi-Chi?
Actually, I think the reason that Bulma genuinely loves Vegeta by the Boo arc is through bonding with Trunks, which, in turn, developed into love for Vegeta, whose "good side" she saw while he was bonding with Trunks mainly through training, but also the occasional activities like taking him to the amusement park.
