Sleeping Princess DVD + More!

Post by SS Kakarot » Fri Dec 09, 2005 11:24 am

Sorry if this is old news!
Amazon says that Sleeping Princess In Devil's Castle will come out as a single release on December 20!

They also have the following up for pre-order:

DBGT Box 2 Vol. 6-10 (02-14-06)
DBZ Ultimate Uncut Starter Set Part 2 (03-21-06)
DBZ Movie 12 Fusion Reborn (03-28-06)

Strange that I can't find any other sites that have the Sleeping Princess DVD. :?

"Starter Set?" Is that what they called that bullshit single DVD w/toy that costs twice as much as a boxset? I wish they'd hurry up and release the ultimate uncut boxsets.

Wow, Z Store hasn't even listed the Sleeping Princess movie yet, and they have their Presale pages updated all the way to the 27th... :?

Excellent post. Sadly I am interested in all of two products on the page (and I am sure anyone could guess which two.)

Actually no, he didn't, in fact it was Lil' Lemmy who discovered it, and then it was confirmed by AnimeOnDvd.com, which then was later placed on the homepage, and now in this thread. What a wonderful little chain of events these little non-public announces make.

I am also totally psyched for Sleeping Princess. That, short of movies 12, and 13, are the only features I have NOT seen. I really am excited for those two kick ass releases coming down the tube. No matter how bad the dub, or story, as long as Sleeping Princess has the Japanese audio/subtitles, nothing can harsh my buzz for that release. -is totally hyped up over this.-

Edit:
Yeah, yeah, I know thats an incredibly screwy response compared to my normal demeanor, but I feel like I have the right to gush since it's been physically unavailable too me for as long as I've been watching DragonBall. (Oh what a strange 7 years its been.)

I've been looking forward to a proper release of Movie 12 ever since I saw a fansub of it two years ago. And at $16.99 it looks like another addition to my import collection. And there's an obvious reason why they've released SPIDC on DVD; it had never been available on DVD before and with the DB movies 2, 3 and 4 boxset out soon I'm sure a lot of people want it singly.

But what's their excuse for no boxset of DBZ movies since 4,5,6? 5 movies is a lot. You'd think they'd at least theme it and make a Broly boxset. I was expecting a boxset after movie 9, and then figured they'd go after 10 for four-set ending with a three-set when they didn't.

In short: I WANT TO PUT MY DVDS IN DAMN BOX!! :x
