That's clearly SS3, not SS, which he already admitted causes the tail to change, unlike the previous forms.Gozar wrote:Not true.
My mistake. Sorry. I didn't know the discussion was limited solely to SSJ1. I only read the one comment.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:That's clearly SS3, not SS, which he already admitted causes the tail to change, unlike the previous forms.Gozar wrote:Not true.
Yeah, it was only brought up because Bardock's tail is brown in the special, when some people think it should be blonde. GT only has the tail turn blonde at SS3, which might even be an error, because its only visible once. Other than that, any other blonde tails (SS or SS3) are only seen in promotional materials for GT, like some of the books.Gozar wrote:My mistake. Sorry. What the hell are you on about son? There's no "Episode of Bardock 2"; there are no other Saiyans around; the Saiyans heard the legend probably from the Freeza Clan or whatever, after all the legend had been around for a thousand years and many races seem to know about the existence of the Saiyans and some about the legend. The namekian Guru knew about it. Maybe Chilled didn't transform because he doesn't have a transformation. Why would Bardock start Vegeta's family line? Why would this be a dream? How specific of a dream had it to be for Bardock to be able to dream about turning Super Saiyan?Lance Freeman wrote:*words*

Its not like it is always depicted as brown though...Jurik wrote:SSJ = No golden tail.Gozar wrote:Not true.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:In GT & video games, the tail never turned golden in SSJ. So, it's just this how it actualy works.

It wasn't meant to be viewed outside of Japan. So no subs.Hellspawn28 wrote:I noticed that there is no English subs when watching the video. That's too bad but it looks like I will wait when the DVD ever comes out (If it has subs).
Same thing I'm thinking.MCDaveG wrote:I think the best release we will ever get in english localization will be rip of this special with fansubs......
Or Raging Blast 3 with SSJ Bardock and this movies as feature in the same fashion like Ragin Blast 2 had Hachihyaku?
I never really put much thought into it. I usually just take things for what they are. It would seem that the tail being blonde at any level of SS would make the most sense. I mean, their hair turns blonde, why not their fur too?TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Yeah, it was only brought up because Bardock's tail is brown in the special, when some people think it should be blonde. Personally I like the tail being blonde, but I don't really care one way or the other how it is depicted in the official sense...I'll do whatever I want in fan works anyway. =P

Lance Freeman wrote:Wow, this new entry into the series is going to be the cause of so much speculation. Is Bardock ever going to find the rest of the Saiyans? I guess he will, since they have to hear the "Legend of the Super Saiyan" somehow. Maybe he has kids with one of the proto-Saiyans, and starts his own family line, or maybe he's going to start Vegeta's family line. Chilled didn't transform in his fight with Bardock, maybe transformation is an evolutionary reaction to get stronger than the Legendary Super Saiyan. Or maybe when Episode of Bardock 2 rolls around, we'll find out that the whole thing was playing out in Bardock's head while he was dying in the Death Ball.
This does beg the question, could it be possible that Bardock was blasted so far back in time that he inadvertently created the Legend of the Super Saiya-jin?DNA wrote:What the hell are you on about son? Yes. Both the anime and the manga pretty much blatantly say that this is how the legend is created, and the Heroes website said Bardock was blasted 1,000 years into the past to face Chilled on one of their mission updates.Craddle wrote:This does beg the question, could it be possible that Bardock was blasted so far back in time that he inadvertently created the Legend of the Super Saiya-jin?(It appears to me that's what this anime is hinting at.)
