I just hate Christmas. The part that annoys me the most IS the concept of giving physical posessions being the most important part, but, I just generally hate it.

Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

Hmm, like TigerKitty over there, I make it about love, spending a good time with your family, spreading joy, maybe some presents for the wee ones and watch their happiness about a jolly old fat man in red. I personally don't celebrate the birth of the sun god, or Jesus, or any other deity that was born around this time. Not even the winter solstice. I'm all about celebrating "Santa Claus Day".

Anyway, the Facebook page said one of you guys is sick? D; sad times, all the best!

Same here. I'm somewhat disgusted by the whole commercialization of what was originally supposed to be a peaceful celebration where families and friends get together (perhaps a chance for those who haven't seen each other in a while and/or have had disputes in the past to congregate). What it does is put pressure on many families that have to rush around buying presents for their children, who are equally as pushy as the media for trying to make everyone take out loans or spend more money than they have on things that they can't afford.

Whenever I watch TV around Christmas, I'm bombarded with constant adverts about Christmas, buying gifts, repeats of films I've seen millions of times (a great number of them being mawkish tripe) and shitty Christmas-centered specials that clutter up the TV schedule. Not to mention how senseless I find it that even non-Christians celebrate Christmas, because then, what are you celebrating it for? You're not celebrating it for the birth of Jesus Christ; you're just being a sheep who jumps on the bandwagon and celebrates it because everyone else does and, perhaps, because you'll feel left-out if you don't.

I'm an Atheist and I don't celebrate Christmas because there's no reason for me to. Don't get me wrong; I have nothing against Theists and non-Theists that do celebrate it just for the family thing and stuff, and I can still say "Merry Christmas" to people and give them cards and presents. It's just that, around that time of the year, it doesn't make me feel full of joy. It just puts a damper on everything and every time it comes round, I can't wait for it to be over. The only thing I like about it is the fact that everyone gets a break from work and school.

Now, I realize that I'm coming off as a moody, Grinchy jerk right now, and I realize that I do tend to be a cynical, depressing person at times. So I'll just end my rant here and say that I look forward to the TFS goodness that'll be coming up in the new year.

Well snap, a lot of Christmas writhing here. A shame.

Not that my Christmas is going to be spectacular this year, but Zeldaaaaaa!

But yes, I haven't watched Christmas Tree of Might in a while. That needs to change.

I love Christmas. No school, I can go out with friends whenever I want, I can sleep whenever I want, everyone is happy. 8)

Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Yeah, but I guess that's because Christmas is a much bigger holiday than Easter or Halloween (the latter being just one day and no break for it), celebrated by people around the world. Not to mention that Christianity's the biggest religion in the world.

Apart from Christmas Day and probably Boxing Day. In my experience, most people generally don't go out between Christmas Day and New Year's Day, because they're relaxing and/or recovering from Christmas Day.

But, yeah, we should get back on-topic. Any clue as to what neat stuff TFS will be coming up next year?

Not really a break. We've just been busy with family and travelling. Scripting has been difficult and editing as well, but come January we'll all be back where we need to be.

I dunno how long your summer vacation is, but only the Kai episode and episode 25 came out during mine.
