Yes, I have a DB Question (Cosplay)

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Well, anime women (and general fiction women at that) have impossible body shapes. Maggie's the best 18 cosplayer I've seen, and she's not 100% accurate. ... Sorry if that came out wrong. ;_;

I don't know if it's something with my computer, but I can't see the images Bejita put up. Even if I copy and paste the URL, it just does the "Can't find server" screen.

I can see them just fine.

And, just wow! This topic is... cool? :P
I can't exactly find any pictures of any people doing cosplay (I did see a good Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion but that's a different story...)

I can see the pics fine. Chaos's Opinion Time!:

Krillin: Ugh...I hate this one! (The bulge in his pants doesn't help either... )

Trunks: Nope!

SSJ Vegeta: Double nope!

Bulma: How about...nope!

Vegeta: Really shitty Saiyajin armor...but other than that it's just fine.

Second Bulma: Very good, minus the green hair.

#18: Really good, one of the best I've seen.

And I usually hate cosplay!

This week on "Thats. My. Opinion." we're looking at Vegeta, TIMES TWO~! Kuririn, Trunks, and maybe some other raff, to pass the time!!!

Bulma/#18:
- As has been said, the girl cos-ing as #18 is really good. Cute, too. The Bulma... um... no, sorry, green hair and all.

Vegeta:
- Tissue paper a good costume does not make. And whats with the Spock eyebrows?!

Vegeta/Bulma/Trunks:
- The Vegeta looks like a girl, with a decent costume and a shitty wig. Way to balance. As for Bulma, haven't we seen her many times before?! Now to conclude with Trunks, he's not very good. Ironicly, he looks like someone I used to know.

Kuririn:
- Tall people shouldn't cosplay as short people, unless they're willing to walk around on their knees.

Next time on Cos-play Z~! We'll be examining some more shitty costumes! Stay tuned!!!

Kind of amatuerish, but I have a few pics scanned of some cosplayers that I took myself, unless I was in it. Only have 2 DBZ ones though. Now that I think about it, has anyone else here besides me ever cosplayed?

Yes, I have cosplayed, just not DB. And if I ever did, like I said at the beginning of this thread, it would be the ones that are more real-life looking, such as #18 or Chi-Chi. I have considered doing Chi-Chi before actually when deciding on what character to do next, but for some reason, the idea of looking like Goku's wife kind of spooked me. XD

I thought the Trunks in that one picture was pretty good. Pretty close. This is such a fun topic, so I agree with askani son amoung others. I mean that Mr. Satan pic was a stroke of pure genius. :) I'm wondering if some people buy holloween costumes? If they do, that might explain why sometimes the quality of the cosplay goes south and other times it is dead on. I know that a majority probably make their own costumes but it is always a possibility, I guess.

Anyway, I've posted some more DBZ cosplayers:

The Majin Buu is REALLY good. I wish he used pink face-paint though.

The others suck. I can't believed somebody cosplayed as the Saiyan that got killed by King Vegeta in a filler scene.

Sometimes I wonder if these cosplayers actually bother to look at character designs or if they're just going by what they think some of the outfits look like. x_X They're that bad.

Ya, I mean the one doing King Vegeta, didn't even bother to give himself a moustache and beard. :?

At least he could have drawn one if he didn't have the time to grow one.

When I was around twelve years old, I died my hair purple for a few days... and then Halloween came, so I said I was going as Trunks (at the time, I had my hair similar to his, but now it's a longer mess that I simply adore).

I doubt I looked like Trunks at all from below the hair, but it was fun while it lasted (I never made the slightest effort to find his clothes). Also, an old man made a scene about me, saying I was a delinquent or something. Just because of the hair. I was walking to a fuckin' bus stop. Awesome.

...Sorry. I don't know where I was going with that.. but I guess Halloween is cosplay in a sense.

Great topic.

Halloween is cosplay, what with all the ghosts and Power Rangers and . . .

But I never see any DB costumes in my neighborhood, so I'm not sure if it is a time for DB cosplayers or not. Based on the number of bad costumes we've all seen, it's probably best kept for conventions. :P Besides, can you see that Ginyu quintet coming to your door and striking that pose? Talk about  !

So he IS cosplaying as King Vegeta? Are you sure? Maybe he's cosplaying as a fanfic Saiyan. Look at his cape and hair: NOTHING like King Vegeta, and like you all noted, he has no beard or mustache.
