ALso Why is Daimao's gi green in those pics?
Because his gi actually shifts between green and blue in the series, but never that green though.

Looks like he's thankfully still pure evil after all unlike his U16/U18 counterpart.

It'll be interesting to see how he fares against that Gast Namekian fellow. He'd have to be a billion times stronger than his original-manga-self in order to stand a chance, though.
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.

I know he's facing a gag character (though one with more skill than some of the others I'm guessing), but I'm liking seeing this Piccolo be a badass right away. I can't imagine him being stronger than Gast though, even if he did forcibly merge with Kami or something, which saddens me cuz I'd much rather have Daimo stick around between the two.

Same. I can't wait until Ten kicks Vegeta's and Goku's butts!

Yeah I got that he is trying to update the style to buu saga style, but there is already sufficient reference for that.
Gogeta Jr doesnt have to draw everything exactly like Toriyama, you know? I'm sure he adds his own twists to it even when he tries to keep it very close to Toriyama's style and the way he drew the characters. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Just a design reusal.

About the new page, we all expected this to hapen.

Not to put down the page, but Beelzebub has surely already seen how evil the villains can be from the tournament so far?

Still, it's funny and the comic has again brought up the Toriyama spirit in a way that few fan-mangas have been able to.

Really?
It is obvious that Goku and Freeza will win easily.
I know Goku will likely to win but I'm still looking forward to the fight. Cell vs. Bojack, Buu vs. Tenshinnhan and Vegito vs. XXI are the fights that I'm looking forward to the most. I wonder if Freeza will transform into his 5th form (Similar to Coola) against Nappa or not?

I'm more into the evil machinations of Universe Buu and also those Space Patrol type guys. They feel so undbish that they fit in. I would have liked to see these guys fight a powered up Ginyu force.

I wonder how weak Piccolo is here if he has to power up to destroy this little demon?

That didn't look like powering up so much as how he normally performs that attack.

Also, not only can gag manga characters not be defeated by regular means they also can't be killed. Beelzebub is also a demon, so Piccolo should have a semi-hard time either way...for entertainment purposes :P

Those are the exact same positions that Daimaou is seen taking in the original comic! O.o

It's also strikingly similar to how he initially defeated Goku.

Stealing art? No, more like an homage or a reference.

Who cares? It's not like this fan manga is sold. Visually, I just want it to look good. Which it does.

He's just using the same technique. I don't see what's wrong with that. In fact, I prefer that he did it.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!
