I warned about two months ago that the first four Dragonboxes would be out of stock soon.. Dbox 3 seems to be still pretty common, but I bet it's the next one to go after 4 and 1. As for 5, 6 and 7, they will probably still be selling without too much trouble until by about Q4 of this year. I would still try to get them all ASAP though.

But guys, just imagine how much these sets will be worth in about 5 years.. all of them. I bet even the most common ones will go for at least ~$60 used.

If anyone still needs Dragon Box 1, it's in stock here: http://www.otakufuel.com/catalog/dragon ... 16135.html

2 and 4 are not gonna be fun to find. Why did I start with #7 and work my way backwards? But if there's anything I learned from ebay it's that people undersell stuff eventually. You just have to be patient.

I just got Dragon Box #5 in the mail today. Now I only need 2 more to go. Come on AMazon, make both Dragon Box #6 & #7 $31.99.

Anyone else notice that on DBox7 episode 254 FUNi made a mistake?

Image

Should be:
"Run away, Satan!! An Angry Majin Boo Emerges"

The Dragonbook has it labeled correctly. The DVD subtitles are wrong.

Just got DBox 5 in the mail (originally intended on ordering 4 but this was just after it became hard to find) and I ordered #6 yesterday, next paycheck I'll be ordering #7.
I've already apparently missed out on 2 and 4, I'm NOT letting any others slip away.

This is the same case as for episode 286 I think where it had another title. But this only occurs if you're watching the subtitle track for the dub, the default subtitle track displays the correct title.

Are the only 2 instances where this is known to occur in DBox7?

Also, bidding just ended for the DBox4 I mentioned earlier. 17 bids, $93.00.

Still waiting for Boxes 5, 6 and 7.

Box 7 should be arriving in a few days though.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

LOL...

rs_chaosmaster is selling off his DBox2's on eBay. Even though he said he wasn't going to sell them for a while. He has a lot of them. Currently, 11 Bids @ $102.50 and the listing has only been up for 10 hours.

Sent an email to sebbyretail regarding box 4, doubt anything will happen, but if I can order I'll be sure to keep you guys updated.

Honestly I don't even know if I should keep the first 3 if I can't find the 4th. If I can make like $200 selling the first 2 boxes, I would rather just sell them than spend more than $75 on the 4th box. Hope some remaining 4th boxes become available soon..

I won't hold my breath, auctions have been going for like $100+.

So besides Best Buy and Fry's, have any other retailers carried the Dragon Boxes? I'm gonna see if I can swing by the BB near me tomorrow and get lucky, but if there's other stores that may carry it I might try.

Depending on where you live, Suncoast, FYE, and Movie Stop have have been carrying them. Movie Stop has them new for $40 and used for $20. The Movie Stop closest to me had Volume 4 a few weeks ago and I kicked myself when I went back several days later and it was gone. I ended up purchasing it on Amazon for $48.

I drove an hour and a half to pick up the used copy of Vol. 2 and when I got there they said they didn't have it, although when I called the dude on the phone told me their computer said they had it and he'd hold it for me. The manager told me the real deal was that someone had traded it in for money and the store was holding onto it for a manager at another store who wanted it. Turns out this store manager felt bad for me driving all that way and decided to sell it to me instead of giving it another employee. She even discounted it down from $19.99.

I inspected the discs of the used volume 2 I just bought and three of them were perfect, two were pretty good, and one was alright. All should be playable, which is all I really care about. I'd say I made out like a bandit for snatching it up at $12.59.

Why does Amazon do that? One day it's $31.99 and a couple of days later it's $37.99. :?

Hey Guys, Rightstuf is having a Funimation sale so if you guys don't have Boxes 3, 5, 6, or 7 you can pick it up from there for 35.99 plus shipping. Although I'm sure you can find these ones for cheaper on Amazon or somewhere else, I'll still mention it just in case.
