The Dragonboxes have better image quality and they show more image on the screen. They also have better audio for both the Japanese and English versions. The credit and title cards are all in their orginal Japanese format. The original next episode previews from when the series first aired in Japan are also included. It also comes with a really cool booklet. The UUSE has the Nathan Johnson score (if you like the dub score) and thats about it (not to mention you can get the NJ score on the Blu Rays aswell). Also what does this have to do with Dragonball Kai?

Not to mention the UUEs were canceled midway, and the Dragon Boxes are completed.

Dragon Box.

UUE had pretty cool covers, they'd suit the DBZ Level sets just fine.

Since the Dragon Boxes were produced in limited quantities, if you want to buy, go with the FUNi DBZ Level sets, unless you're willing to pay the prices the sellers are demanding.

I'd never trade my Dragon Boxes for the DBZ Level sets.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:

The Dragon Boxes have better packaging and is much more collectable than the Ultimate Edition editions. Picture quality wise, it depends on what you're looking for in image quality. The Ultimate Uncuts has the same masters for the Level sets which according to some folks are accurate to the Japanese airing of the show whereas the Dragon Box image aren't true but a great remastering nevertheless. Audio wise, the Ultimate Editions contains the Japanese Audio with the English dub with the Broadcast score in 5.1 and the Mexican Spanish dub whereas the Dragon Box contains the Japanese audio and English audio with the Japanese score. I'd say you're better off with the Dragon Boxes or the Level sets as these releases as well as the Kai releases are the best releases for Z out there. Also, the Level sets unlike the Dragon Boxes has the broadcast if that's any interest.

Are you sure about this? I'm pretty sure the Ultimate Uncuts just use the same DigiBetas they've had since 1996, and their film was bought for the orange bricks.
