Ahaha, 'rs_chaosmaster' has typically jumped at the opportunity and purchased one. Sorry couldn't help it, not hating but cringing.

Yeah, only to sell them at an outrageous price down the road; how unethical.

Yep no doubt, I saw one of his auctions recently for DB 2 (used) it sold for like $180!

How do you know he got one?

In any case I just hope that some of the people who actually need these finally take advantage of this now.

The username begins with r and ends in r, that person also has the same feedback as rs does (I know this because I had his used one on watch to see what it would go to).

It's fairly obvious since he scalps for dragon boxes so he can make a quick buck out of them. As dballfan stated, he had an auction recently go for $180. There was a photo he had where he had a bed filled with boxes, he buys them in bulk to sell them for high prices. I just find it incredibly unethical and disgusting when there's fans that actually need said boxes to complete their collections. Not all of us are rolling in money you know.

The main reasons it gets to me are these:
Firstly, when I needed (around 1-2months ago) it I posted in one of his threads where he requested someone from canada to check there stores to see if they have any and that if they could sell them to him. I posted on it asking if someone could do similarly. Than he PM'ed me, long story short he said its my thread so I'm priority.
Than he posts a picture of all of his DB's, literally at least 25+ he had...

Right, yeah I remember that. Ya know as much as I hate scalping it wouldn't even bother me as much if he hadn't been trying to convince everyone that he just liked to collect as many of them as he could. I think that's what he said. It's the bullshit that really annoys me there...And the scalping.

They sure are flying fast aren't they? I'm hoping they're not all being bought in bulk so fans actually have a chance to grab them and try to complete their collection.

Harsh times, I wonder what Funimation makes of all of this. Will it prompt continuation of Dragon Box releases? An announcement for any of the remaining sets wouldn't be a surprise this year as I don't believe there are any forthcoming competing releases.

Whoever is putting these up at a finally somewhat decent price is my hero.

Now all I need is 7 which I'm getting off RightStuf and I'm set.

Oh, Movie Mars? That's who I bought from, they sell on amazon.com and amazon.co.uk. I bought mine from amazon.co.uk and I'm still waiting for it to be shipped. Sounds and looks fishy as fuck if you ask me.

Eh, RTM and MM both don't have a listing on their websites for Dragon Box 2 either...

At least with eBay if its fishy you can get your money back (use paypal!) so its worth a shot for those who need it, although it is fishy he's listed it twice and he may only have 8 not 16?

Ouch, also they seem affiliated, both listed at like the same time both 8 available to start. My question is though Why the F' would they list it if they don't have it? They should have some but hey who knows.

Likely because it'll sell more quickly on eBay than it will on their site. I remember this is what Gamestop/Moviestop was doing with a lot of their DVDs.
