Re: Dragonball Errors
What do you mean by Ghosting? I've also thought about that as well about cell explaining that.
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Maybe Cell could move the lump/nucleus to a different part of his body on command. And then with his self-destruction, it didn't matter because his whole body was going to explode.dbboxkaifan wrote:samuraix123 @ ghosting?
One error/plothole that always bugged me was Cell's, according to his logic, if his lump/nucleus were to be blown away he would die and unable to regenerate, then why was he able to when Son Goku blasted his top-body with the Instant Kamehame-Ha?
I've read reasons as why to Cell was able to be kept alive, but by logic it doesn't make sense to me.
Mr. Toriyama, care to explain?

It isn't an error, it's theorized as an error.

Lord Slug Movie(Shots are taken from my Dragon-Box The Movies)
Slug's scar disappears then returns
Here we see a shot of slug with the scar on his face and accidentally edited on to his helmet

Then when he notices the Dragonball on Gohan's hat, The scar is gone and doesn't return until the ending.(Also as a note while Goku and Slug are fighting you cannot see the bottom scar)

When Slug removes his helmet, and is revealed to be a namekian the top and bottom scar returns for the whole movie.(even though you couldn't see the bottom scar earlier while Goku and Slug fought)

Re: Dragonball Errors
If I remember correctly Goku's pants in the 10th anniversary movie keep changing from yellow to blue at the start of the movie.

IIRC they were blue at the start of the movie, then Goku went inside and changed his pants before he and Bulma left on their adventure.

Re: Dragonball Errors
Dragonball the Path to Power 10th anniversary(This is one of my favorite movies
)
Goku's clothes change from Blue to yellow
Here we see a shot of Goku in his Blue outfit

Then he switches to yellow pants

Then he goes back to Blue

When Goku agrees to help bulma on her quest, we see him walk out in the outfit from the beginning shots which he keeps through out the whole movie.

Re: Dragonball Errors
I just found a (possibly) manga-only error.
When Piccolo Daimao tells Goku that he will kill him in five seconds (at least, in the Viz translation), he holds up five fingers. A few panels actually keep this error, but then he reverts back to the normal four.

Re: Dragonball Errors
I've read somewhere on Daizex, that the official explanation is that he can regenerate from every single cell that is left intact and not some nucleus. But donť know where or what thread that was, so sorry for no back-up.dbboxkaifan wrote:samuraix123 @ ghosting?

Re: Dragonball Errors
That's in the Japanese text too, and it's an intentional joke. There's even a note at the bottom of the page explaining that he has a fifth finger just for that "five seconds" line.CaBrPi wrote:I just found a (possibly) manga-only error.

...Though it's possible that was an error in the original Jump serialization, and Toriyama was just trying to cover his tracks with the note in the tankoubon release. But trying to find the original Jump issue for comparison in 2012 would be very difficult.

Re: Dragonball Errors
I'll try screenshot it, in Movie 10, when Videl is giving the apple to Goten, his arm is drawn like Trunks' one with the green sleeve of his jacket,

Well, I went back and checked, and you're right. Viz printed a small message saying "He grew a finger!" beneath the panel.TripleRach wrote:That's in the Japanese text too, and it's an intentional joke. Oh wow! I've watched that movie so many times! And I never noticed the yellow and blue pants changing; Crazy!
Re: Dragonball Errors
That's not official in the comic or Japanese version of the cartoon. It's just how FUNimation rewrote the dialogue in Z back in the early 2000s.MCDaveG wrote:I've read somewhere on Daizex, that the official explanation is that he can regenerate from every single cell that is left intact and not some nucleus. Re: Dragonball Errors
Here is something I noticed when I was watching the 2010 ova. Trunks has black pupils when he is a super saiyan.

Broly the Second Coming(Shots taken from my Dragon-Box the movies)
Here we see a shot of Trunks grabbing an apple

Then when Goten tries to grab one Videl slaps him. Notice the Blue Undershirt.

So Videl hands Goten a piece of food and when Goten grabs it, His shirt is green like Trunks
