We only have one instance of somebody only using "half of their power" in the part of the series that has BPs and said character was clearly telling the truth. I don't see why this would be any different.

What I'm saying is just because it says "until now you haven't even been using half of your true power." Doesn't mean it should lead us to assume Goku is using near half of his power during the confrontation. That sentence could be taken into two context like I said in my previous post, it either means he's using under half of his power or it is just Rild's way of saying Goku hasn't shown his true potential. In a lot of stories and manga we see characters say "This isn't even half of what I can do" or "this is only half of what I can do" that says to me that they haven't shown their true ability, it shouldn't be associated with a fixed number or percentage of their ability. Just because it says "isn't even half" or "is only half of what I can do" it doesn't necessarily mean that if we double whatever they are doing at that current moment in time that they'll be performing near or at 100% efficiency.
