What if Goku stayed in Ginyu's body?
You know, I was wondering how the story would progress if, like in that chapter title page and that anime flashback, everything on Namek was resolved, but Goku never got his body back from Ginyu and returned to Earth in Ginyu's body (say, if Ginyu was killed while he was still in Goku's body). How would Chi-Chi react? Would there be any Super Saiyans? Would the Androids and/or Cell kill everyone on Earth, regardless of whether or not Trunks returned to the past and warned the Z-Warriors beforehand?

And your assuming that they'd be able to beat Frieza? If Goku hadn't become a SSJ who would have defeated Frieza? And nothing would have stopped him from visiting the Earth to destroy it.Piccolo Daimao wrote:You know, I was wondering how the story would progress if, like in that chapter title page and that anime flashback, everything on Namek was resolved, but Goku never got his body back from Ginyu and returned to Earth in Ginyu's body (say, if Ginyu was killed while he was still in Goku's body). Yeah, it's a hypothetical situation. I don't know how, just make shit up. What's important is afterwards.Hitiro wrote:And your assuming that they'd be able to beat Freeza? Krillin killed Freeza with the Destructo Disk in this universe, obviously.

Theres so many possibilities that could happen if Goku had stayed in Ginyu's body but one thing is for sure, Goten would be one ugly kid.

If Chi-Chi would even want to have sex with Goku. I believe that Chi-Chi was the active one in their relationship, while Goku was the passive one, so if whenever they had any sex, it would be initiated by Chi-Chi, since Goku is practically asexual and libido-less, caring more about fighting than some woman he was forced into marrying (you know what I mean).dario03 wrote:Theres so many possibilities that could happen if Goku had stayed in Ginyu's body but one thing is for sure, Goten would be one ugly kid.
So Chi-Chi, feeling sexually repressed, would end up having an affair with Yamcha, equally lonely after having been dumped permanently by Bulma.

I can imagine at the end of the Boo saga, after Pure Boo was defeated:
- Goku: Hey Chi-chi, Rou Kaioshin gave his life to me, so I will live with you again.
- Chi-chi: You have been dead for 7 years!! I am married with Yamcha now. You expect I would raise Gohan and Goten all by myself?

Goku: Huh. ... OK, then! See ya, guys! *flies off*
Yamcha:
Chi-Chi: He always does.

Actually that's a common idea among ff writers, but they usually pair Chi-Chi with Piccolo, stressing that she needed more a father to her children than husband for herself.

Yeah, I would've thought so. It's nice to experiment, but realistically, Piccolo's asexual, so that would rule out any sex scenes. Platonic love's a possibility, as we see that Piccolo is capable of love, because of his relationship with Gohan (acting as both a friend and a father figure to him, especially in Goku's absence/s). I do think that Piccolo would be a better father to Gohan and Goten than Goku, simply because...it's Goku. I believe that Piccolo understands Gohan better, as, when Gohan was being bear-hugged by Cell at the Cell Games, he had to tell Goku, to his surprise, that Gohan didn't like fighting and no matter how strong he is, he's still a child.Eire wrote:Actually that's a common idea among ff writers, but they usually pair Chi-Chi with Piccolo, stressing that she needed more a father to her children than husband for herself.

Piccolo mentioned he couldn't understand the humans, regarding Kuririn and no.18 scene after she was revived. So I guess we can't expect him to have any relationship with Chi-chi, except of nanny for Gohan.

Re: What if Goku stayed in Ginyu's body?
Piccolo's asexual. He couldn't understand why Kuririn had the hots for #18, which was purely sexual. And like I said, Piccolo loves Gohan. Although, obviously, that's in a different way to the love he'd feel in a hypothetical relationship with Chi-Chi.Fox666 wrote:Piccolo mentioned he couldn't understand the humans, regarding Kuririn and no.18 scene after she was revived. Well, AT did mention that the namekians might be hermaphrodites, which would fit with the snail/slug theme, but be a bit weird.
Frankly, I think Piccolo would be as interested in relationships as he is now, fully male or not.

Dragon Ball Multiverse should of used this idea in their tournament, would of been quite funny with Goku meeting Ginyu-Goku.
That, or a universe where after Ginyu acquires Goku's body, he eventually sets into it, unlocks Kaioken, kills Frieza by unlocking Super Saiyan and eventually becomes ruler of the Universe.

Re: What if Goku stayed in Ginyu's body?
But something about Ginyu being in a stolen body will probably alerady happen in Multiverse.

Re: What if Goku stayed in Ginyu's body?
Kami could probably restore Goku's original body. I don't see how he'd be stuck with it forever, even if Ginyu didn't give it back... But if somehow there wouldn't be anything he could do, he would simply get used to it and not give a damn about it next morning.

I don't think he creates a new body, only rebuilds it. That's why Goku's body disappeared after his death. Afterall he has been restoring bodies much stronger than himself, some villains should be easy to defeat if he could create bodies like that from zero.

Screw all that jazz, I want to know what would happen to the frog
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!
