Trying to buy FUNi DBOX Vol. 2

Post by Krakabeast » Fri Jan 13, 2012 7:54 am

Well, I can't believe how fast these guys are going OOP. I bought Vol. 1 and Vol. 3 in 2010, and ignored the rest this past year assuming they'd still be plenty around by the time I could afford to go out and buy the rest at once. Let's just say I'm kicking myself in the nuts repeatedly these past few days for not picking up 2 and 4 at their original prices. I see myself picking up 4 on Ebay, but finding a decent price for Vol. 2 is equivalent to hitting the lottery.

Anyway, I'm bidding on a Vol. 2 on Ebay currently, but in case it doesn't work out, I wanted to know if anyone here is better off with the Blu Ray releases and is willing to sell me their Vol. 2 for $120. I'll also pay for shipping. I would GREATLY appreciate it.

Shoot me PM's please.
Gohan: At least he doesn't have his sword out anymore.
Kuririn: Yeah, and your dad put his finger away too.

Not to be mean, but only a fool would agree to those terms.

Maybe having a complete Dragon Box set is worth more than $120 to him...

It is, but as of right now, that's all I have. This is really aimed at whoever is satisfied with the Levels and just wants to make a buck on their DBOX straight through Paypal, without going through Ebay. $120 isn't exactly a high price for this one anymore, but there is the minority who don't necessarily worry about always making top dollar and may just want to help someone else out.

I see. I wish you luck finding someone here who has the levels/plans on getting them all and doesn't mind parting with their Box 2 to help you out with your collection. Of course, you seem to prefer to have the Dbox set rather than the levels, so you'll need to find someone who is just the opposite. The levels are great, but I prefer the DBoxes my self, simply because it's the closest we will ever get to watching it in it's original form.

I plan to own both. I prefer the Levels video quality and natural colors and want the broadcast dub. As for the Dragon Box, I want the best quality Jap BGM, colors, authenticity and packaging of course. I just want to scoop up the DBOXes now before they all become $2-400 a pop. FUNi knows how to milk me.

Dragon Box 2 for $120 and it's not even brand new genuinely sealed, that's quite expensive, tbh, it could be even more.

My Dragon Box 2 only cost £30 which is $45.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Yes, very expensive, but compared to other ebay options, the cheapest. I checked every store around me within 20 miles and found nothing, not even other DBOXes, and I'm in NJ, so you would figure places would be stocked with some. And I've emailed a ton of websites claiming to have it, and then tell me they don't. I don't care if it's used, as long as its near prestine condition as that's how I treat my personal items. Happy as fu** that I'm even getting it considering what a pain it is to find a decent one.

Eventually I will sell all of them (I currently have 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7. Holding #4 for someone who wants it.), though I probably won't sell them until they're as sought-after as 1, 2, and 4 are now. But if you are interested in any of them, I am accepting offers :) Just shoot a PM.

Yeah, i'm totally after a #4. I have all the others except #7 (getting that as soon as payday rolls around, no way i'm risking it going all #4 on me!) SO if anyone is selling or trying to sell a #4 either PM me or let me know so i can PM you!
