I believe in God and the bible? does that make me a religious freak? I've never shoved my belief in anyone's faith not even once! I can already see this topic being locked soon

No, not all religious people are "RFs".

Just imagine converting a console fanboy into a religious fanboy, and then the outcome.

Example of a stoopid console war:

Fanboy 1) Xbox 360 is better than PS3 and here's why...

Fanboy 2) NO U FAG PS3 IS BETTER THEN YOURS, KNOW WHY, DICKHEAD? I'LL TELL YA...

Fanboy 3) Nintendo's Wii is better because gameplay matter and graphics don't, and... (It's what about every Nintendo fanboy says)

Religious freaks can be more irritating than fanboys and more dangerous, because console fanbous just talk crap and not do something stupid in real life (unless they're mentally ill).

These Nintendo fanboys that keep saying "gameplay matters and graphics don't" they should tell me why on earth would they need a 3DS if an N64 or SNES would be perfectly fine (no 3D feature).

Gokuism? Do people really look into Dragon Ball that deep? Dragon Ball is fiction and is a anime for kids at the age of 6-17. I hate when people look into stuff way too deeply and think that there was some deep message.

I personally don't care for religion. If you believe in God that is fine but I think there is any proof that God exist or if God is anything that he is told in religion. To me, he is no different then believing in someone like Zerus or Santa Claus.

To me it was an obvious troll. I am not trying to "defend" anything. I've just stated what I've noted on countless occasions; religion messes up people. Not only religion though, but the fact that you follow every kind of shit rule without thinking about it does. I've got many religious friends that are not fucked up in their heads, but their parents used to be when they followed lots of "rules". Luckily they changed. Look at all the conflicts all kind of extremists cause...(not even religious people) The only religion I haven't heard about causing conflicts is buddism and hinduism.

More-or-less he was, however that was not a conflict caused by atheism. Hitler was a devout Catholic, does that mean the conflicts of World War II are caused by christianity?

You can say that the communism tried to ban the Church as an institution, but then it comes a political question that is beyond the pure disbelief in God.

He was. In his personal life he was an exemplary religious man, no matter what you could say about his political views.

That's a fallacy. If we are going to point who are not "true Christians" based on what he does or belief, I am pettry sure no one would be safe in modern days. Especially considering there are many different views of the same religions.

I am not quite sure how many historians would agree with that prediction. Besides there were many agreements beetween the Nazi party and the Catholic Church.

I'm against religions and -isms (Only acceptable religion for me is Budhism) in general......
But this is funny and one of the things about urbandictionary, not all of the entries here are based on truth and are made up for funny content.
As you see, they also have a ranking system for how good or how much funny the entry is.

Funny how people are claiming that having a religion based on a fictional character is ridiculous (or believing in Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy because "only kids believe in them and then they grow out of it"), yet they think other "real" or "official" religions (e.g. Christianity, Judaism, Islam) are perfectly reasonable to believe in and no-one ever questions the existence of their prophets and their actions for fear of offense. What double-standard bullshit.

But yeah, could a moderator just lock this thread? This is just pointless and is going to start a religious flame war, and we all know that we don't know. People can be really irrational about this kind of shit.

Well, there is a good analogy. Dragon Ball is a manga, and the Bible is a book. Both main characters are based on well know legends (Son Goku and Sun Wukong, Jesus Christ and Krishna). Etc.

But I think I prefer the guy who has been beating demons and aliens.

True that you have a point but I think both religious fanatics and atheist fanactics are just as equally bad. Someone who thinks everyone must believe in the Bible and think anyone that does not should die is just as bad as someone who thinks anyone who believes in God should die.

Sad that religion cause so much trouble across the world since a lot of people died because of religion (For example Vlad the Impaler
was btrayed by christianity which cause him to kill over thousands of people from what I've read). I like religion for all of the art and media that it spawns but I think the world could be better without it. Some people believe that religion will be long gone by the 23rd century seeing that we will likely be on other Planets by then and we will know much more about our universe then we do now.
