Re: Dragonball Errors
Thank you! That's all I was wanting to know. Please carry on
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Does anyone have a Youtube link of Gohan saying kamehameha instead of masenko error? It's the japanese version. I can't seem to find it anywhere

Ignore what he says, just pay attention to the footage.

Re: Dragonball Errors
So Gohan looks like he fires a masenko but says kamehameha instead? Was I suppose to look for something else? I keep watching it over and over and don't notice anything except that.
Japanese - Kamehameha
Ocean Dub - kemehameha
Funimation - Masenko

Re: Dragonball Errors
In the manga and anime he fires a Masenko, and says "Masenko" in the manga, but in the anime he says "Kamehame-Ha". In the 1996 English dub he says "Kamehame-Ha", but when FUNimation redubbed that scene, they corrected it to "Masenko". Some might argue that it's not their job to make changes like that, but I think that is a good change.

No, he just screams. Which would be why the error was made in the first place, presumably.Pokewhiz7 wrote:and says "Masenko" in the manga

Re: Dragonball Errors
Actually, I was wrong too, he doesn't scream either, he just fires.Pokewhiz7 wrote:Oh, thanks. I never read that part. But yeah.Adamant wrote:No, he just screams. Which would be why the error was made in the first place, presumably.Pokewhiz7 wrote:and says "Masenko" in the manga
Either way, he definitely doesn't say "Masenko" OR "Kamehameha" in that scene in the manga, which is what matters.

Re: Dragonball Errors
Well I'm glad Funimation fixed the problem.

Also in the Japanese version of Kai (and I believe in every version of Kai) they corrected Kamehameha into Masenko.Pokewhiz7 wrote:In the manga and anime he fires a Masenko, and says "Masenko" in the manga, but in the anime he says "Kamehame-Ha". James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

It's no error, it's just that Han Solo and Jabba the Hutt co-own that restaurant!

It's not an error. Some animators will sometimes dim the pupils to express a character that has been stunned.ringworm128 wrote:Was watching the Dragonbox the other day and this one just came out of nowhereJust look at his pupils.

Nice find
Also you might want to re-add those other pictures, because it says that they're deleted or moved.
