I imagined might be the Ma Kaioh and Ma Kaioh Shins.

Woah, these are really solid! You have a fantastic eye for creating characters in the Toriyama style. Is there a place where I can check out more of your stuff?

I like them. I can definitely see the inspiration you got from the evil nameks of dbo.
Like that claw weapon of the fat one. I like that drawing the best.

I don't think the makaioshin surved a purpose though so I don't think they would have functions split up according to universe. I just think once in a while a powerful evil one comes along.

Supposedly they are gods equivalent to the gods of the normal universe...Should therefore have a similar grouping, although due to be evil not to carry out their duties to care for the universe. If they guess the same title (Kaioh Shin) also have the same functions. It's just what I imagine ^^

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised by these. They seem very close to the Toriyama style. Good job!

I really like that "Riven" dude. He totally feels like he could be a big bad in Dragon Quest, too, but I absolutely see the influence of a Kaioshin in there gone bad. Super nice work!

Oh, thank you! Riven is also my favorite. So there are more pictures of that character than others XD...The name Riven comes from Riben, Japanese for "convenience".

Hector I have some tips for your friend who's coloring these. He should try to liven up his shades by not using just base color + grey. Every shade gets a little more blue or other color in it due to ambient lighting. A little more contrast would help the picture out too.
So I did these edits with "replace color" in photoshop. So it's still the work of your friend, I just changed the color values.

To be perfectly honest, I couldn't care less about the fans a re-issue might alienate because if all they're concerned about is being able to scalp the people who were either unaware of the Dragon Boxes or couldn't afford them at the time, they're just leeches and deserve to have their greed backfire on them.
