I just finished watching the episode "Union of Rivals" and I noticed that during the sequence where Vegeta and Goku were about the fuse, doesn't it seem that Vegeta is actually a Super Saiyan before the two become fused? I base this on hair colour during the sequence where the two are getting pulled together. Goku's hair is clearly a darker colour to Vegeta's, which seems quite light.
VegettoEX, I think you used this section of footage in your Doomrider AMV too, around the 8 minute mark if I remember correctly? Can anoyone clarify this?

No, I’m pretty sure it’s just a trick of the unusual lighting or a mistake. Up until they actually start to merge, Vegeta is clearly in his normal form, they never show him transform and there really isn’t any time for it anyway. Also, in the manga Vegeta’s hair doesn’t look light as they merge.

In the manga, Vegeta's hair looks exactly the same as Goku's when they fuse. Both being black of course.

Yeah, its just the coloring, Vegeta is not SSJ at the time, (and IIRC, this idea wasn't helped much by an image on the cover of a certain Budokai game either.)
"I'd rather die than fuse with you!"
"Um...Vegeta, you're already dead."
