Is the Budokai/sparking music a ripoff???
I was listening to Itunes when I noticed something rather familiar witha song I had never heard before called "Do it for the kids" with Velvet Revolver. Later, when playing my copy of Sparking or Tenka'ichi I heard the same song!
After a few days I was again listening to Itunes noticed 2 other song that were also parts of songs in Tenka'ichi/B2/B3. The songs were "Aint life grand" and "The Alien" with Slash´s snakepit.
I did some research and came upon an intresting fact. The frontman of both bands is Saul Hudson AKA Slash.
My question is, what do you think?
I have no idea but the first ting I thought was "ripoff!" But now that I think of it, it seems unlikely.
PS. The songs you can get on Itunes for 0.99$ each.

I'm pretty sure there was a "Ask" seggment a while back on the main site that was kinda simular to this...

I doubt it's a ripoff... more of a homage maybe? But then again, I'm not sure of the songs your talking about, and I've not played a Budokai game in forever.

The Budokai soundtrack has more of these "tributes" in them.
The songs "Move Forward Fearlessly" and "Challengers" both sound like slightly re-arranged versions of two Stratovarious songs, Glory Of The World and Hunting High And Low, respectively. You can even put the lyrics of the actual songs to the Budokai tracks. There's another song in there I recognized (besides the one you mentioned), but I don't remember which one it is.

I noticed this one too, a long time ago. I never cared enough to bring it up though.Mirai Trunks´s Nr. 1 fan wrote:I was listening to Itunes when I noticed something rather familiar witha song I had never heard before called "Do it for the kids" with Velvet Revolver. If it's the same one I'm thinking about, anyway. The song plays during some segments in the Story mode of Budokai 3, when you're flying around the map. But, it's only the small beginning part that sounds really similar, I believe. That part only lasts a few seconds.
What I want to know (and I asked it before, but without really any answer) is why an EXACT snippet of the beginning of the Buu's Insides level in Budokai 3 is part of a song in X-Men Legends.
