Well I added my votes. However I went with the movies first. I would rather have the Z collection complete before moving on to the others. DB second then GT.

And I know that the movies have been released in multiple forms, but from the completest standpoint, I'd rather finish off Z first. But, eh, if they want to proceed with the others, so be it, I really don't care.

I desperately want the Dragon Ball Dragon Boxes, so I voted for that. I'm pretty content with the Green Brick releases for GT but it would be nice to get a Dbox for that series as well.
Pokewhiz7 wrote:I voted for the original DB. I don't think the blue bricks look bad at all. On the contrary, I think they're the best-looking of the three sets of bricks. They could still look far better though, and next-episode-previews are really nice. The steelbooks don't look great, but I'd much rather have the original Dragon Ball.
And I wouldn't like movie singles. A nice boxset would be better and take up less room.
Actually, the GT Green Brick sets is the better one out of all three. It's pretty close in comparison to quality with the DBoxes. The Dragon Ball Blue Bricks however, the video quality isn't so great. The images are zoomed in and the colors are a bit off. Those are the only draw backs of the Blue Bricks.
- Been a Dragon Ball fan ever since 1995 (at the time, I was 7 years old).
- I prefer Saffron Henderson's Kid Gohan and Kid Goku over Stephanie Nadolny's.
- I still hope for a redub of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z with FUNimation's current cast.
- I prefer to watch Dragon Ball Z with the Faulconer Score, however I do not mind the original Japanese score.

The zooming isn't that bad. The green bricks look very blurry to my eyes, though.

Not to mention the GT bricks are interlaced.

While none of the Funi releases seem to be perfect (few video releases are without their drawbacks), to me they don't really approach the orange bricks in terms of being unacceptable. The movies look very similar to the Dragon Box in terms of framing, though there is some detail loss I feel I can live with that as I've never really been into the movies beyond Movie 12. It would be nice if Dragon Ball had not been cropped but the cropping that was done doesn't to my reception violate the framing in the same way that the matting of DBZ did. I don't care about GT. I guess I feel kind of weird in that I love the Dragon Boxes that they made but the only other one I could see myself buying is The Movies and that's just because I only have the first four of them, and if I find the new sets cheap used around $12 or so I think I'll be happy enough with that. I'd rather it be this situation of the Dragon Boxes being arguably redundant than otherwise left with atrocious releases like the orange bricks across the board, even if that does seem to be less tolerable for people who care more about it. Like I hate the blu ray of Dawn of the Dead because it's my favorite movie. If I liked DB/The Movies/GT more then I'd probably be more concerned about getting Dragon Boxes for them.

I voted for DBGT, DB, then the movies. If they release them I think they will follow the same order as they did with the release of the season sets (DBZ, DBGT, DB).

Dragon Ball, the movies aren't that special(IMHO) and would rather have a series than just a movie collection.

I still think they should release the Movie box but after they release the trilogy.

I voted for the original series. I never owned all of the original series on DVD. I have the first Blue Brick season, but that's it. I actually have the remastered double features to movies 1-13 and the movie 4 pack of the original Dragon Ball movies so I'm in no rush to get those. I actually got the complete series boxset of GT released in September 2010. I'm not saying I won't buy the Dragon Boxes for those series when they come out, I will, I'd just like something I never really got on DVD at all first before somethings I already have on DVD. Plus, if they do release Dragon Ball first, it will give me enough time to sell the DVD's I have of GT, the movies and the first Blue Brick.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

I voted for the movies, because the blue bricks aren't anywhere near as bad as the movie releases.

I personally beg to differ.

The movies had pretty much the same framing as the dragon box, the color(IMO) were better on the double features but the blurriness/dvnr and color bleeding ruined it.

When I saw this on FUNimation's Facebook page, I literally jumped and screamed like a Justin Bieber fangirl, I'm not kidding.

I chose the Dragon Ball Dragon Box to be released first, since that's kinda what I want the most out of the DBOX collection.

I am so glad that FUNimation actually listened to us from that title survey, otherwise this would've probably never happened!

Same here!

Though, we all shouldn't get too excited. I know some here use their Jump to Conclusions Mat, so for now it's a wait and see.
Let's hope they at least do a reprint for Z, throw a bone at the late bloomers before they mortgage their homes for them!

Yeah, they are just scaling on whether or not it's worth it to them to purchase the rights, produce the discs, ect. If they get enough responses, they will indeed release one of them. So, just like they said, the more the merrier.

Well, I wonder if that means they never intended on releasing the movies in DBox form...even though they have the footage, they claim they didn't plan on releasing any more. Now I'm starting to think all we might get from this is the movies...and there's probably still a very small chance that we will get DBoxes for Dragon Ball...

They're telling us already if more comes it'll be Limited Edition, nice but gotta get them fast before they go OoP/OoS.

I really do want DBOX DBALL, I haven't watched the original series in complete, and with the DBOX BALL I would.

I hope that's what they meant, and not "we never planned on releasing anymore anyway, even though we have the movie footage, we need more fan feedback to know we would make money". I guess there saying that if they release them at all, it would of course be a limited release. After the DBZ Dragon Box debacle, this should be common knowledge among the major DBZ fans.

Same here about Dragon Ball. Have yet to see the 22nd TB and King Piccolo arc in anime form.

It could be that they're waiting to have all 17 movies to release before they do a movies box, as the survey specifically said all 17 would be on a possible movies box.

Anyhow, I voted for the Dragon Ball Dragon Box, and listed it as my favorite of the 3 series (it's actually 2nd for me) and I put GT as second to show that I'd totally buy a DBox for it (not true of course, but if it gets more DBoxes then I ain't complaining). Also in the "Favorite Z Arc" section's comments, I said that some of my favorite Z related material is the TV Specials, in hopes that they might consider them for a movie box.

I will love the Dragon Ball Dragon Box, so I marked it.
But still, I don't care really. When I started to have a money to spend on shit like TV series DVD set and have been able to buy almost all the Z dragon boxes,
they went out of print and remains got rudiculous prices......
So US DB Box is pointless for me, as I already have the original one, only missing subtitles, so I'll probably get it out off torrent, I don't F'g care....
