It it is true that just because they doing a survey it isn't certain they are going to be doing any but I think it a safe bet that they are seriously thinking of something to fill the gap the Blu-rays [Until they find a new process] and this is likely it I expect also Toei would be willing to sell them the masters for this.

Doesn't make any logical sense, considering the Dragon Box: The Movies is all in 16:9.

It's strange that the season sets have some picture lost and so does a dragon box .

The Movies were ALWAYS intended to be 16:9...

(I know about the whole "Some theaters did play some of the movies in 4:3" thing, I was saying in most cases it was intended to be 16:9"

I thought about that as well Funimation was just like ''Eh I know they're wanting that but let's give em this instead'' But even if they did I'd still buy it I voted for Dragonball as well

I also voted Dragon Ball. I figure that the movies have a better chance of coming out on their own since most of them are Z related and FUNi has the Z ones already, making it an easier cash grab. Dragon Ball, on the other hand, may need more of a push.

I doubt they're getting a small response -- this community alone (via this message board, our Facebook and Twitter pages, and the update on our home page) has already driven a significant amount of traffic their way... and that's just us alone.

It may not be on the level as some of their more-general surveys, but they're hearing the fandom for sure.

Take the survey. This is like a dream come true! If we can get the rest of Dragonball Dragon Boxes I'm going to tell everyone on my Facebook group to take this survey!!! This would be 1000 times more awesome than the Blu-ray announcement if this actually happens!!!! I hope that if this is the case they have the msrp (similar to) the Z editions (which was near) $40. I'm a moron so I'd probably pay $80 a piece but would much rather get two for that price one new one used !!!!

We are lucky. But on the other hand, I feel like the only reason they're considering releasing Dragon Boxes now is because no one will buy Dragon Ball on DVD anymore. I mean, honestly if they released another Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball GT or Dragon Ball movies set on DVD again, they probably wouldn't sell so well. I think the only real way to sell DB on DVD yet again is by releasing these Dragon Boxes.

It might sound like I'm bashing FUNimation, but I'm really not. I'm willing to give FUNimation my money for pretty much any Dragon Box they wanna release next. I'm just saying why I think now they're considering this.

Well it's a theory, but I think the only way we'd know that for sure is if we got a hold of their sales figures for the past 2-5 years (consisting of everything from the bricks to the Kai BDs).

Man, I would love to see sales figures. For some reason I'm really curious about that stuff. I've even thought of creating a thread where people who work in a Best Buy or places like that, post the sales from their stock of DB DVDs just to get an idea of what's selling.

The FUNimation DBZ Blu-ray announcement was very exciting but then things started getting ugly and cancelled afterwards. Eesh.

RCM, this is just a survey not an actual evidence FUNi's about to produce their own Dragon Box Dragon Ball version, but fingers crossed they do.

I voted for the Dragon Box Movies, since I have the entire Dragon Ball collection (Vol. 1 to 16) in manga format. The movies were always fun to view, since they didn't require you to watch for hours. Just imagining myself watching the DBOX Movies, with crisp clear audio in it's original language, makes me so excited! (If FUNI decides to release this.)

I voted DB DBox. I missed out on the Z ones, and I'd love to have something in Dragon Box form, and considering Dragon Ball is my favourite out of the movies, Z, and GT I hope it happens. I'd buy the movies if they came out too, but I couldn't care less if it turned out to be a GT box.

I voted Dragonball as I have all of the Japanese Dragonboxes except the first series, which I have in singles.

Like others are saying though, whatever they release I'll buy.

My heart jumped when I saw the announcement on the front page yesterday. I took the survey and voted for the original DB. However, as others have also said, any Dragon Boxes they put out, I will buy.

I just remembered something. Back when FUNimation announced the Dragon Box Z, they mentioned that they got the 13 movies as well. Now they refer to the Movies as 1-17, which would be all of them, including the Dragon Ball movies. So....would they get them if they were to license the Dragon Ball Dragon Box masters? (thus making a vote for Dragon Ball a 2-in-1 vote?.....Or am I just high on excitement right now? lol)

Also, where does any of this leave us with the TV Specials?
