Did anyone have a physical folder of DBZ images?

Post by dbboxkaifan » Mon Feb 13, 2012 4:15 pm

As a kid I used to have one, and when possible I'd fill it with more pictures that would be printed/copied, now I miss not having it any more.

So, just curious, anyone did the same thing? :)

I did when i was in 5th and 6th grade. I would print them at school or in the library. I had friends that did the same thing. Some people even sold some pics for 10 or 25 cents. Of course i wouldn't buy them. I printed out screenshots of Dragon Ball, Z, and GT. There was some Budokai 1 pics i printed before the game was released. I had too many. My folder with pics was 2 or 3 times bigger than a history book lol. I wish i still had the folder. Brings back memories lol.

I used to have a book I filled with print-outs and stickers of Dragon Ball.

Years later, a friend of mine gave me a couple of books that he had filled with print-outs. It was awesome.

Wow, that must have been a trend back in the day. My friends and I used to print out DB images off the computer. Bonus points and respect if it was something bizarre like GT or "SSJ5."

Back in the mid-late 90's, I was obsessed with Dragon Ball Z. So much that I would search online of various Dragon Ball content (characters, posters, etc.), a lot that weren't even known in the US at the time, print them out and put them on the wall on one side of my room. I ended up having this collage of Dragon Ball pics. I should've taken pics of it. It was massive. 8) I also had a binder full of my favorite pics at one time.

I had the official Dragonball Z sticker book and used to trade the stickers at school.

Yeah. :P My brother and I used to print out Dragonball Z pictures, and we would try to draw them. :) Good times.

I did on my old computer.

But I haven't on this one.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

I don't think I did, but I remember kids at school doing so (I was in the 5th grade). I'd forgotten till now. So many feelings and memories long forgotten... :O

Yes, and I still have them in fact.

I printed out images so that I could practice drawing them. I also had a binder that I kept all the stickers I'd buy from China-town and other places.

Oh I had one! It was great. I kept it in chronological order too, or as best I could with the promotional images. On the left side I'd have pictures, on the right I'd have BS battle power print-outs, summaries, and what I later found out was some random fan fiction. Good old days. I got rid of it because I really didn't need it anymore. Most of those pictures they have in the first Daizenshuu, while the rest were screen shots...and I own like every version of the series ever released in North America. I used to love the GT images. Very crisp. This was, of course, before they even showed anything past Goku landing on Namek and beating ReaCoome.
