Well... I managed to snag myself a copy from a used games store for $39.99 USD... and it was basically like new. Case, disc (unscathed), and manual (like new) and all. Yay!

The price is actually better than what's online... there's one on Amazon for $41.72. And it only includes the disc! The next one that had the whole package is $49.95. I'm glad I found it when I did, otherwise the price would probably continue to go up since these games are disappearing and are out of print.

How come it hasn't affected the PAL version?

NTSC-U version compared to the PAL is quite pricey.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

I was wondering, that the game have still the price like it's almost new altough some games that are year and half old went really down to 1/3 of price. At least that's how it is in CZ game shops. So it is out of print. They should make some Greatest Hits version with some bonus!!

The U.S. release was published by Atari, who no longer holds the rights to Dragon Ball video games. So, basically, ten or so years from now, the game won't be that much different in terms of scarcity from the Super Nintendo Dragon Ball games--at least in the states.

Oh, and I think it's worth noting, the Wii version of the game is clocking in between $218-$299 USD on Amazon, new. Yikes. :o The cheapest you're going to get the game, used, is around $75, which is around the same price as some special editions of brand new current generation games.

*Shrug* The PS2 version is better, anyway.

Damn, it's a pitty you need US version. I see European versions everywhere, In Platinum edition for exactly 20$ and the first print for 25$.
All new.

Hey Thanos, thanks for recommending the game.

So... I completed it in 2 days, it covers DB-Z-GT-Specials-Films but misses a lot of fights from each series and the cutscenes weren't sufficient to make it a faithful game neither.

The international music got so annoying that I ended up muting it and just listen to the Japanese voices.

Gogeta SSJ4's Custom 2 looks pretty impressive.

Story Mode: 2.5/5
Graphics: 4.5/5
Music: 1.5/5
Characters List: 4.5/5
Gameplay: 4.0/5

Despite all its flaws it's still one of the best Tenkaichi games due to containing all three series and extras.

Thank god they included subs in Spanish, French, Deutsch, Italian and English, I personally prefer the Spanish subtitles because the names are most kept as they should.

Mr. Satan = Mr. Satan
Freeza = Freezer
Tenshinhan = Tenshinhan

I'd rather take Freezer than "Frieza". :lol:

That bearded Freeza soldier was unfortunate enough to be named "Soldado de Freezer" (Freeza's Soldier). And going from Seripa to "Fasha" that beats me...

You likely won't. It was an extremely limited (1,000 V-Jump readers) give-away. I don't actively look for it, but I've only ever seen one pop up on Yahoo! Japan Auctions once since 2004.

Then again, at least two of our members here in the community have it, so the odds can't be that bad.

Yeah, I love BT3, and find it to be the closest we have to a perfect Dragon Ball game other than, say, B3, but the only thing missing is a good story mode. It only has like, what, 30 or 40 something fights? And half of those are What-ifs and Movie fights! Not to mention the blocks of text and those terrible flap-mouth cutscenes.
