Nail's looks changed when he fused. He has the Grand Elder's facial features that he must've had when he was young. The warrior look that Nail and Piccolo have was changed for Nail after he fused with the Grand Elder. I think they really did combine into one new being.

It's hard to tell. While the art in this special is good it's also pretty inconsistent.

Calling it, Freeza transforms 2 more times and it becomes a huge battle but Nail still wins in the end.

Gast looks like the Death Beams don't bother him too much. We may get to see Freeza's final form. It would be sweet if we get to see his 100% final form, but I have a feeling Freeza dies on the next couple of pages.
