For America

Japanese dbz is not needed anymore. we have the series in english so thats what we should use. the english anime and manga are by far better because we can understand it, theres no need to go by the old outdated source just like we english speakers dont learn greek. Who agrees?

I'm just going to hide behind this rock over here and watch as everyone guts you like a fish and roasts you over an open fire.

What? I honestly believe this. I feel since we have more than one faithful adaption, we can use those.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Oh man, I just can't even. Hahahaahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Wow, I don't care if I get warned for this. You are so fucking stupid. From your post, to the grammar that's in the post.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

Problem is that the adaptations are not always faithful. Even the more faithful ones (Viz' Manga and Kai's Dub) still take some liberties. In addition, many fans view vocal performances as a large part of the faithfulness regarding the presentation. As I'm sure you're well aware, many of the English voice actors are nothing like the original Seiyuu.

Just....just don't watch Anime anymore. Clearly, you do not see it as quality tv, you see it as some stupid little kiddy cartoon. Well go, go live in your little fantasy world, and leave the REAL FANS ALONE. Go away, dubbie.

Uhm I see it as an actual, yknow, cartoon? Dont get your panties in a bunch, stop being such a weebo. I'm a fan just like anyone else, meaning you have no right to tell me where to go. I believe the dub is better, so what?

Incredibly disappointed by the lack of maturity shown in the responses given from the community, here. Severely so.

If you honestly think this is just a joke post, why bother responding to it? I hate to toss the "T"-word out there, but how does anyone posting around these parts not already understand that feeding a troll just encourages them? Ignore them, and they go away. They feed on attention. No attention? No troll.

If you do think it's serious and engaging to respond to (which I encourage more than anything else!), barely any responses here qualify as passable. Again, as you already know from agreeing to the community rules, if you don't have anything to contribute, it turns out you don't actually have anything to contribute.

Do you believe that adaptations render original versions obsolete? Explain why! Do you believe there is still a place for them? Explain why! Bring in analogies -- things like film re-makes (1998 remake of Psycho) or cover songs (maybe something like the Sinead O'Connor version of "Nothing Compares To You" that ended up out-shining two prior versions of the song).

But if you're just going to laugh and toss out insults? Yes, you deserve the temporary ban you just received.
