I suppose so, but the reason I'd consider it an error is because it out-lived its intended gag purpose when it still remains there after he arrives at Gyumao's burning castle. Which made it more consistent to the story, and then just disappeared.

The History of Trunks
Here we see a shot of Android 17 & and 18. and as you can see the side of Android 17's shirt is torn! which is not an error.
Image
But as soon we get an overhead shot of them blasting future Gohan. Android 17's shirt is back to normal.

BIDEL. Probably it's just that Videl could be spelt in several different ways at the time, though.

I seen that as well but I wasn't sure if it was an error. do to the fact that the Japanese spelling is different than the English. for example Black Lagoon, the Japanese calls "Revy" Levy.

If it's the Japanese name written with the alphabet, it has to be Bideru or Biideru, so I guess they didn't know the spelling of devil and confused V with B.

*Another one found. Gohan is naked on TV before he fights Cell.

The amount of WTF that went through my mind as soon as you described and I saw that picture can not be described by mere human words.

If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! There's nothing wrong with that. They changed his blue belt to red from DBZ movie 6.

Ouch

By the way I remember seeing Gohan's hairstyle suddenly reverting to the one in the Freeza arc when he fights one of Garlic Jr's henchmen. Can someone post a screen cap?

A few mistakes in episode 171:

-Goku's eye is not SS shape with the closed outline.
-Cell's ear isn't yellow.
-Cell's face isn't purple.
-When Goku is remembering about baby Gohan, his boots have sometimes yellow lines (as they should for that time), and sometimes red lines. These 2 images are from the same scene, so he didn't change boots in different days, if you were going to say that

There is also an error in GT, when Pan is talking to Golden Oozaru Goku, she has a flashback from the 28th TB, and Goku is wearing his GT clothes, instead of his end of Z clothes.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
