You are right. That is a beta version of his design, so that's not an error. You can also see that Haiya Dragon is coloured differently.
Thanks for the info Kei17! I thought that was an error but wasn't for sure. but now we got it worked out :)
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Just watched that episode, I noticed that too. There was also yet another instance of Vegeta's disappearing glove(s):

Have you got a before and after shot? just posting a picture of Vegeta without gloves doesn't count as an error :P I'm not trying to sound rude but those things help.

Actually Vegeta wasnt super saiyan at all in this scene, so it may as well count as an error.

Nice! I didn't even pick up on that :) If Goku's hair was black then Vegeta's should have been as well. thanks wanzai

I always thought it was a stylistic choice as Toei always depicts Vegeta's hair as brown, so I thought it lit up more to show a contrast to Goku's black hair. Also you never see or hear him transform, his pupils are still black, and his hair would have additional lines in it, but it's solid there.

I think the same way. They intentionally painted his hair in bright colors to make a nice contrast with Goku, for designing purpose.

Vegeta has a halo over his head in the picture on the left but on the right it disappears. I'm good :P

Anyone known of an episode which doesn't have any flaws?

Btw, when I see Goku + Vegeta before turning Vegetto like that, just reminds me of their weewees together. :?

It's hard to think of the episodes that don't have flaws on them on the spot :P But I have went through just watching episodes looking for the littlest of things and couldn't spot nothing.

Edit - By the way I just got through watching Broly the 2nd coming and didn't see any errors

Wasn't TOEI released a new episode each week. If that's so no wonder there's mistakes it would be inevitable.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

It's a far off shot, and they're only slightly off.

I really don't think we should count imperfect drawings as "errors", or else it's going to get to the point where people are posting nothing but crappy in-between animation frames.

They're very slightly off, but I too don't consider this as an error.

I couldn't help but make the Derpy Hooves comparison, but I agree with you guys. There's a clear difference between an animation error and a goofy, poorly drawn frame.
