Obscure merchandise you own?

Post by Sun_Wukong » Thu Jan 05, 2006 7:27 pm

Since we know there is some very very odd DB merchandise out there, what is the strangest you own? Mine has to be DBZ towels

My set of Goku and Freeza walkie talkies lets you talk into the crotch.

My strangest? Probably the bootleg rub-on transfer sheets I have with Dragonball images from the art book/tankobon/whatever.

:P I used to have a Vegeta punching bag, and every time I'd beat him up, he'd scream: "I'm the Prince of all Saiyans!"

I also hav some neat little DB minis that came from a vending machine at a Wal-Mart...I've got Kid Goku, Bulma, Kame'Sennin, Mai, Shuu, and SSJ Vegeta.
I really, really need to get back into the habit of posting.

I have a Goku one. For the longest time you could barely tap the box I have him stuffed in and it'd scream "I will not let you beat me!" and "I'm going to win this fight!"

It finally died last year.

I guess mine would be the cute little Buruma keychain I have. It's of of a super deformed Buruma in her Arabian style outfit from the part in Dragonball where they encounter Boss Rabbit. It's just a cheap little hard plastic thing, but I adore it. She looks very cute.^^

Though I personally don’t own anything particularly “obscure”, I have a cousin that has DBZ bed sheets.

I don't own this myself, but my cousin owns a Dragonball Z bath utilities set... I shit you not! It came with a comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, glass, mini towel, and kid's cologne. When we were kids I used to steal it from him all the time! XD

I don't really own anything. The only DragonBall things I have are video games, manga, a DVD (which I won; I don't buy DVDs), a few cards, and a magazine.

But, I remember YEARS ago, before I even watchd DBZ (but after I watched a bit of DragonBall), I bought some foreign-language can of pop, and it had SSJ Goku on it.

Ha ha! No wonder Meri's been "banned". She keeps giving away all of Mike's secrets. :P

I have four DBZ cards that have dates for a specific month on them. Pretty strange and unusual, but cool. They're Japanese too.

I'm jealous of the way Meri (or Vegetto... whoever actually did it) stacked that stuff. Every time I stack about the same amount of stuff or less, even in bookcases, it looks like shit.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

I don't know if these items are really "obscure", but I have a DragonBall themed room. Complete with bedsheets, pillows, covers, curtains, desktop background for my comp., and those sticky-things that you stick on the wall.

It was a group (err, dual) effort. Sometimes, things fall off the shelf through the openings on the sides, but it's been pretty good lately.

I wish I had a place for all my DBZ figures and Bubba Trunks, though!

I dunno if they'd care if I posted this or not, but I was watching this person at deviantART, and they have a funky room. :)

The most obscure DB merchandise I have would be the Burger King Kids meal DBZ "toys". Its more or less a stand that has a one color semi posable toy. Some had a light up ability, if I remember correctly, too.

Whats the fat #17 thing in Meri's pic?

Anyways, my brother tends to get a lot of the weirder stuff. He had this cheap DBZ sword and shield set that had Goku on them, and a Piccolo dress up kit. I came with these odd cracked dragon balls too...
He has this Goku keychain thing too, its not so much odd as it is makes me jealous.

As for me, I have a bunch of random toys from early in the domestic release. Like a Goku flashlight thing that you have to squeze the chest to make light up, and the goofy looking plush Goku that had a plastic head. I got a Gotenks figure I got during the release of the android saga. It came with a giant gun and an inverted dragon ball. I've also got this SSJ Goku magnet ( My cousin has young Gohan and a sword), and these odd trading cards my grandma got me one year. Theres like Gohan looking like he's gonna pee his pants and such.
My favorite is this little ghost kamakazi guy I got somehow.

I know none of thats really obscure, just kinda goofy. I've never gotten any DB stuff from japan, even though every time my dads gone overthere, I've begged for some. Well... my brother got the Goku keychain from over there.
