VHS Fansubs
VHS Fansubs
Hey guys,
I'd like to kindly ask if there is anyone who wouldn't mind offering a watchable copy (spare duplicates?) of the original VHS fansubs from their respectable collections. I'd like the ability to experience the series in the manner of what many individuals describe on the forum. I'm impartial to the contents, it doesn't need to contain a particular set of episodes, movie or TV specials for that matter. Any charges etc. will be up those interested (postage won't be an problem) although I wouldn't have an issue with digitising the tape and returning the footage physically and digitally if desired.
Thanks for your time!

Re: VHS Fansubs
You have no idea how much I wanted to ask this question. I would love to hold a DBZ VHS fansub and pop it into an old VHS machine (I guess I'd need to find one first though!) The last time I even saw a VHS machine I must have been like...10 at most. I can totally understand why someone wouldn't want to part with those tapes even for awhile. It would be a swell treat and it's totally on my bucket list. Finding a full collection of DBZ fansubs is my personal nerd holy grail.
Super sorry for adding a reply that wasn't from someone interested. Just thought I'd throw my dime into the pond too.

Re: VHS Fansubs
My problem is that I do not know where my tapes are anymore... I bought those about 14-15 years ago...

Re: VHS Fansubs
I would love to help, but I'm pretty sure most of mine were lost in a flood. I'll have a look around o see if there are any stragglers...
Re: VHS Fansubs
Thanks again guys, I know I'm going out on a limb even asking so any replies are more than helpful enough and deeply appreciated.

Re: VHS Fansubs
I would too bro, but a hurricane wiped out my parents entire garage. What does that have to do with this topic you ask? Well my dbz fansubs where in a storage box on the top shelf of the garage. Sorry buddy if I could I would. The memories!!
I'm a DB veteran thats paid my DB dues!!
Re: VHS Fansubs
I'm sorry to hear that Dan Corson & TheNamekGio but your thoughts are much appreciated. I second takarajima's request for submission to complete useful, contributional reviews of the tapes.

I'm down. I placed the first bid on the item earlier, but I am willing to put money into the community pool if we can get enough people involved.

I did the same thing. I miss all those crazy commercials. Apes selling potato chips, DBZ video game commercials, scary looking Japanese Ronald Mc Donald...
Ah, good memories...

Re: VHS Fansubs
I wouldn't want the physical tapes since I don't have a VCR anymore, but rather the tapes converted to dvds or digital files.
