FUNi Dragon Box Set For Sale

Post by obiwan23s » Mon Mar 12, 2012 6:42 am

I thought this place used to have a forum for stuff like this but maybe I'm thinking of another site. I have all 7 FUNimation Dragon Boxes and due to recent life circumstances I am now in a position where I'm willing to sell them. I will entertain offers from Daizex users first and if I don't get an offer I'm comfortable with I will put them on the open market of eBay as a last resort. They are all in great condition, my Box 3 was not subjected to the paper advertisement being taped to the box and tearing the back cover like some people's boxes were, and any given disc will have been watched a maximum of two times although most were only watched once. I do have a number in mind for what I want so send me a PM and if we're close, we'll talk about it.

Not that I'm in the market to buy, but posting pictures of your product is a common practice in "SALE!" threads. It just makes us more comfortable actually seeing what we're buying.

I live in Austin. I can split the set and sell them individually but I'd prefer to sell the whole set for $400.

That's a great price of used. I sold my extra new sealed set for 160 above that(shipped too). If anyone missed the chance of buying them on here this is definitely their chance

Thanks for the endorsement, Beji.

I am willing to lower my asking price to $375 and split shipping with the buyer. I had one inquiry for Box 2 but I would rather extend a good deal to someone who wants the whole set than just get rid of the rarest one on its own and try to sell an incomplete set off one at a time. At $375, that is not much more than I paid for them and certainly a good deal considering the crazy prices you would enter bidding wars for to get Box 2 these days. Sorry for the lapse in replies, I broke my USB wireless adapter and it took a few days to replace.

Are these Dragon Boxes still available? I might be interested in purchasing 'em. . . . I'm just wondering what condition they're in. Like, any noticeable wear on the covers and the discs? Scratches (hairline or otherwise)? Stuff like that.

They are still available and in practically perfect conditions. I did not intend to sell this set when I originally bought them so I always handled them very carefully. I just checked the underside of every disc and didn't see a single scratch. Like I said, most of these were only watched once. A few were watched twice but altogether these discs have spent very little time inside any machine. There are no dents or nicks of any kind on the boxes themselves, the only aesthetic problem you're likely to find is fingerprint smudging on the DVD books due to the glossy material they're made with. But I can wipe them down with a cloth before sending.
