Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
How the hell would Buu know that in the first place?
Nevertheless, I like the way things are progressing.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Ooh. Gotta say, I love this plot twist, though we already kind of knew it was coming after the Bardock versus Raditz fight.
If it's not King Cold (which I can see as well for some reason or another), I would also place my money on one of the other Ginyu Force members.

It's a bit of a stretch, but since he's kind of a magical being, maybe he can kind of 'sense' that kind of thing? I dunno.TonyTheTiger wrote:How the hell would Buu know that in the first place?

Universe 8:
Age 762 - The events on Planet Namek happened differently than what we know. Certain members of Frieza's organization are conspicuous only by their absence, Zarbon and Dodoria were presumably killed by Vegeta as they were in Universe 18 (among others), although weaker members of Frieza's army like Appule and Cui managed to survive. Most notably, although most of the members of the Ginyu Force have come to the tournament, Captain Ginyu himself either did not survive or is attending in a body that we do not recognize. Two members of the Cooler's Armored Squadron, Doore and Neiz, are also missing, though their compatriot Salza is involved in the tournament.
Appule or Cui,,but how storyline goes it can be even Frieza xD

Well, Gohan noticed that Ginyu Goku was a fake, so it may have to be related with ki.Gyt Kaliba wrote:

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I thought Gohan only noticed Goku was kinda 'off'. He knew there were something wrong with his father by picking subtle cues and comparing with what he knew. It wasn't that hard, anyway. Not only Goku were wearing, very uncharacteristically, an scouter for no reason but he was also acting weird and accompanying enemies without bothering to explain.Godo wrote:Well, Gohan noticed that Ginyu Goku was a fake, so it may have to be related with ki.
I think Buu noticed because he is just that awesome. He and Vegetto seem to do that a lot, noticing every little thing that happens in the arena and acting omnisciently.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
It could be either of those things, but you'd think noticing a disturbance in someone's ki, in that way anyway, would require you to know them well. That fits with the Goku/Gohan situation, but not really with Boo/whoever-Ginyu-is-right-now.
On another note, I'm interested in who's going to visit Vegeta and the others as well.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Well Zen buu does know of the technique because he has Goku, Vegeta and Gohan absorbed inside of him. So all their knowledge is his aswell.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
We don't know what other shit Boo has absorbed. He is like Gast, he is merged with powerful & magical beings that have abilities unknown to us, both of them can do whatever Salagir wants. Which is awesome, because they are both unpredictable! So, how could Boo know? Maybe he can read others' minds, like Karin?
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Would be awesome if it's complete bullshit and Buu is just trying to subtly inject mistrust and chaos among the universes.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
What a tweest! This is getting really interesting again.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Yeah, when Gohan and Kuririn sensed Gokuu-Ginyuu and Jheese flying towards them, they both sensed that they were evil, but Kuririn immediately dropped his guard and presumably ignored that when he went over to greet who they thought was Gokuu based on his appearance, while Gohan stayed hidden with his ki and sussed him out.Godo wrote:Well, Gohan noticed that Ginyu Goku was a fake, so it may have to be related with ki.Gyt Kaliba wrote:It's a bit of a stretch, but since he's kind of a magical being, maybe he can kind of 'sense' that kind of thing? Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I love how Zen Buu works as a villain... he hasn't done a great deal of fighting, but you've gotten a good look at his personality, and it really works. Much better than wanting to kill everyone, he relishes everything about the battle and provoking fear, similar to what made Cell so awesome.

If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Scientist's agonize over the attempt to achieve perfection! That's the kind of creatures we are! We take joy in trying to exceed our grasp, in trying to reach for something that in the end, we have to admit may in fact be unreachable!"

Nice to see the core plot of this whole multi-verse tournament coming together, first with Boo and Vegetto's little spat out in space, then Bardocks weird vision and now this. The plot thickens...
"Zen" Boo is my favorite character in DBM by far.
