Nah, I used a photo reference for the figure, environment and colors, but it was a hand drawing I scanned in and reworked with a brush in photoshop.

First off, I wanted to say I'm glad the forums are back and running again. Second I've been wanting to share this for a few weeks. I wanted to make a He-Man VS Goku picture and after looking at Kai vol. 7 I figured out how to do it. So here is my drawing of Goku fighting He-Man.

Wow... I don't think I ever imagined that I'd see a version of Puar who looked creepy!

On the other hand, his Roshi and Piccolo are pretty awesome. It's almost like an idea of how a weird-looking green guy like Piccolo must appear to the ordinary humans of DBZ Earth--he really does look like something that could be called a demon in this art style.
