TFS's Goku is very cute here. X3 I really enjoyed the clip; thank you for the preview! Lots of good luck on the remaining half of editing!
On hiatus.

Are you talking about Daimao Appears?

Yeah, it is used a lot, but it's used effectively. I particularly liked it's usage in Episode 25, when it was played literally just before Piccolo showed up.

Since my earlier question was ignored, I'll ask again.

Probably not gonna happen. It'd take way too much time away from the actual new episodes.
I think maybe he was wondering if this might happen AFTER the series is complete?

Is it really going to take that long? When it ends I'm going to feel really old. It might actually be a bit sad when it ends.

I thought it would take longer if they wanted to get right to the end of Z. Then again, they'll probably have finished the Freeza saga by episode 30 so I guess they're really ploughing through the material.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Isn't the 2-part episode 27 the finale of the Freeza arc?
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Doubtful ep 28 probably ends when Goku goes SSJ.

Actually, considering 28 goes up to the Spirit Bomb, I imagine 28 ending with Goku's SSJ scream and it cuts to black as the screen echos.

Then 29 kicks off the fight :D
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

Just saw this bulletin on TFS's youtube...

TeamFourStar posted:

Update: As it turns out, 28 will not be a two parter. It will be split into 28 and 29 due to logistical errors. Hopefully 28 will be out by the weekend. You can expect 29 out by the middle of April.

We apologize for the confusion, profusely. It was our intention, from the start, to combine them. Unfortunately, several issues have arisen and we're working hard to make sure everything is the best it can be and delivered in a timely fashion.

Oh, so I'll have to wait a bit more for the Super Saiyan Son Goku scene? Shiz, I expected to be on the 2-part (now separated episodes). :|

I'll just have to be patient for the awesomeness to be out.

I liked the episode, Masako pulled off the serious and silly moments within the episode pretty well. And I enjoyed the Zarbon joke. It's not listed on the credits, who did the voice for Goku's brain?

Best. Episode. Ever.

The previous few episodes lacked something to me but this one actually had me laughing. Good Job!

Here's the link to episode 28, "Leave it to Freezer": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxChP7oux1E

It was hilarious, I loved it! Freeza and Goku compliment each other well . . . LK was awesome as usual, and Masako was great, too (loved his big Kamehameha).

My only critique/complaint is that Lani's Piccolo lines sounded a bit too close to the mic or something . . . and Goku's "But can you block?" line sounded distorted and low quality compared to everything else.

This episode was surprisingly good. I actually laughed at some parts.
"Those transformations insane,
They wanna turn up hours late and steal the show from the pros who had to die for the name." - Yamcha (DBWTF: Z-Rap 3)

"Over saturation is easy. Just drag the slider to the right and there you are: instant interest. And certainly, the majority of the public likes saturated color images. In fact, if you want to quickly create a popular image, simply over saturate the colors and increase the contrast. While you may not achieve a sophisticated image, you will achieve an image that will please a less demanding audience." - Alain Briot
