Yes, they are. Though, not completely. It's a collaboration omake of Akira Toriyama, and Kochikame author Osamu Akimoto.
As for the 3rd and 4th images, about that sumo thing, I don't know.

Do you have all the scans of it? If yes, could you PM them to me?Angelus wrote:Yes, they are. Though, not completely. It's a collaboration omake of Akira Toriyama, and Kochikame author Osamu Akimoto.

I'm actually still looking for that omake, myself. XD
From what I read, this cop Ryo from Kochikame has superhuman strength and stamina, which I assume might rival initial child Goku (pre-Roshi training).

So, it's okay having a full chapter on this forum?

What's the chapter's name? Kochikame 30th anniversary, or Kochikame X Dragon Ball? By the way, I read it, and it was very good!

Not sure. Might be both. But I think it's Kochikame X Dragon Ball.

The second manga, Monmon no Sumou Yuugi (モンモンの相撲遊戯 Monmon's Sumo Games), seems to be authored by a man named Tsunomaru. Monmon being the protagonist of Tsunomaru's own manga Monmonmon (モンモンモン).

Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread
I'm actually looking for a couple of quotes from Goku and Gohan. Tried to find them but they don't appear to be in the "Strength Checker" section.
What does Goku say to Gohan before he fights Vegeta as Gohan and Kaioshin are leaving to stop Babidi and Dabura? Also, what does Gohan say to himself as he recalls what his father told him minutes before about unleashing all his power, while Boo's is about to awaken?
Thanks. Any response would be appreciated.
EDIT: Thank you.

Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread
I think the ones you're looking for are in the strength checker.
Chapter: 458 (DBZ 264), P4.4-6
Goku: “Ah! Wait, Gohan. I have 2 more senzu; you should eat 1. You used up a lot of stamina earlier. [ ] Get angry, Gohan…Remember how you got angry and fought Cell, and draw out all of the power you have. If you do that, you won’t lose to anyone in the entire world! Not to anyone…”
Chapter: 458 (DBZ 264), P3.1-2
Context: as Gohan remembers Goku’s advice to get angry
Gohan: “I-I am angry…! I’m angry, but…[it’s not] like it was ba-back then…”

Thanks.
"I'll be the next opponent!!!" or less literally "I'm up next!!!"
(And if it's important or not obvious, that's definitely a Gokuu line, because the word for "I" is "ora.")

Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread
Since I found the other entries, I too would like to know what they say about the strongest movie villains:Fox666 wrote:Since the question about Janenba was raised in other threads, I guess it's worth to request a translation:
Supposedly this is from "Toei Movie DVD's official website" (東映的劇場版DVD官網中) that is no longer avaiable since 2010.
http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/h44 ... 69/q15.jpg
The site I found it was chinese, so I could barely understand anything except that it is about who is the strongest '"boss" in the movies.
Number 1.
Number 2.
Number 3.
Thanks in advance.
And yeah, that all comes from the now defunct Dragon Ball movies site.

Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread
I can tell that the first mentions Majin Buu(魔人ブウ) at the end of the first line, the second mentions Janemba(ジャネンバ) in the beginning of the sixth line and Super Saiyan 3 like you said, but I don't know in which context. That's why I just wanted the entire thing translated to get a better idea of it.Fox666 wrote:The 3rd one is talking about Hirudegan (ヒルデガーン), the others I don't know but the second says something about Super Saiyan 3.
Of note is the fact that the first one in the very first line mentions Goku and Vegeta(悟空とベジータ), which was the second part of DBZ movie 12's title coincidentally.
Since this comes from the Sparking series(aka the Budokai Tenkaichi series), unless something changed between the 2nd and 3rd installments, it should say that Gohan only used it at the 25th Budokai and the reason why he didn't use it afterwards is unknown. For the sake of which form Gohan used against Dabura discussion:
http://dbzs.jp/meteor/img/chara/14/gohan_young_ss2.jpg
This is what is said in BT2:
DBZ BT2 wrote:Super Saiyan 2 Gohan

This is teen Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 transformation.
While participating in the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament as the Great
Saiyaman, he performed this transformation in response to Kibito's taunts.
Afterwards, he never performed this transformation again. The reasons why are
unknown.
