Yust like i sad Gohan whanted Kakarotto to go easy with Pan.
Only thing that would make this scene badass is Gohan fight Frieza theme.
One thing i didnt understand is that Gohan offers them a powers for exchange that Kakarotto go easy on Pan ?

He's not really asking him to go easy on her, just restrain his natural Saiyan brutality. If Kakarotto is strong enough to knock her out in one attack, he's free to do so. Gohan just doesn't want her dead or maimed.

Not really, at least IMO. You can restrain the brutality of the finishing move without going easy on someone. Finishing the fight in one attack before the opponent even has a chance to react is still winning it in one attack, but its not required to blow them to Kingdom Come if you don't have to.Super Vegetto wrote:Isnt that going easy ?

I wonder why Vargas made rooms like you cannot feel ki inside them, quite easy way to break rules inside these, if you ask me.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I dunno, maybe its their ideal way of preventing the competitors from learning too much about their competition's level of power? Like, some of the fighters are hiding their true power/forms/whatever and its stressful for them to remain that way, or perhaps they can't remain that way while sleeping, so this way the combatants can feel at ease in their own rooms? Who knows...coola wrote:I wonder why Vargas made rooms like you cannot feel ki inside them, quite easy way to break rules inside these, if you ask me.

Brock?
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I thought this Gohan was Ginyu at first, but now I'm not sure. He seems out of character. Would Gohan really do this?

I see Gohan as a more concerned father than Goku is. Also, besides being more concerned as a father than Goku, he is also much smarter.Dorexx wrote:I thought this Gohan was Ginyu at first, but now I'm not sure. He seems out of character. Would Gohan really do this?
Put these two together and we get this. He doesn't want Pan to suffer needlessly, so he is (intelligently) doing what he can for that to happen. And some informations and a display of power should be enough to ensure his goal.

I don't get why he can't just persuade Elder Kaioshin to unlock Son Pan's potential if he's going that route. Ultimate Pan would be awesome, she'd probably win the entire tournament.

That's... right. Wow, I can't believe I didn't think of that. That's a much better idea.CatouttaHell wrote:I don't get why he can't just persuade Elder Kaioshin to unlock Son Pan's potential if he's going that route. Ultimate Pan would be awesome, she'd probably win the entire tournament.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The only real counter to that is time. Gohan's ritual took nearly a full day from start to finish. Depending on where you place Pan in the potential department, Gohan could be worried that her match could come up before the ritual was finished.Saiga wrote:That's... right. Still, even if they only get a few hours it would be worth something. It shouldn't take too long to get up to Kakarrot's level should it?TheDevilsCorpse wrote:The only real counter to that is time. Either way there is going to be a ritual, doesn't matter if its Pan or Kakarot getting the power up.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:The only real counter to that is time. Proud to be a S<3NE.

Pretty much this. Imagine Chi Chi's level of protectiveness with a Saiyan's power. Dangerous combo to cross.rereboy wrote:I see Gohan as a more concerned father than Goku is. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Now I'm curious if we're going to see 'Ultimate' Vegeta, Kakarotto, Nappa and/or Raditz. Can't see them sitting down for hours on end watching an old fart dance around them, though. Then again, Nappa and Raditz probably don't have too much potential left to unlock.
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.

I really liked this page, expressions where nice.
Not so happy about Gohan telling 4 evil power-maniacs about a way to get even more powerful.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I'm not sure Elder Kaioshin could be persuaded to give the upgrade to anyone who hasn't removed the Z sword himself/herself or is in possession of the sword, no matter how many dates with women he is offered, unless there is some sort of universal threat.CatouttaHell wrote:I don't get why he can't just persuade Elder Kaioshin to unlock Son Pan's potential if he's going that route. Both in the original manga and in DBM, he only offered the upgrade to the person who was holding the sword when it broke, and only in exchange for some compensation of the perverted kind.
So, I'm not sure he could be persuaded to give the upgrade to a random person who had nothing to do with the sword, without actually being any real need to do so, no matter what he is promised.
Also, like it was mentioned, it would probably take too long.
With this approach, Gohan gives the Saiyans a piece of what seems to be useless information in hindsight (since Elder Kaioshin would never give the upgrade to a evil being, in my opinion) but gets a deal out of them which ensures Pan's safety as long as they uphold the deal (and they have no reason for not upholding it).
The saiyans probably won't realize its useless information since Gohan will probably neglect to mention that the Elder Kaioshin won't give them the upgrade and the Saiyans will have no reason to not uphold the agreement since they actually got information out of the deal, they don't lose anything by letting Pan go unharmed in their match (since Kakarotto doesn't have to lose) and Gohan's rage is something to be afraid of considering their power differences (which is probably why Gohan is displaying his power).
Unless you think they can actually force Elder Kaioshin to give them the upgrade or persuade him, its useless information for them, even if they don't realize it. And I don't think Elder Kaioshin can be persuaded by them or forced by them to give them the upgrade.Michsi wrote: Not so happy about Gohan telling 4 evil power-maniacs about a way to get even more powerful.
Now, if Gohan was telling them about the potara, that could be dangerous, since they might be able to steal a set somehow. They could create a evil Vegetto! However, the fusion would not be able to enter the tournament so it wouldn't help them win the tournament.
