Why'd you want to watch EoB in SD? :?

In case you don't want the game, just send me it. :P However, if it's like RB2, the OVA will be included with the game disc not separated.

It wouldn't really bother me either way, as I do own both a 360 and a Kinect. BUT, I won't be buying a Kinect game at release, Dragon Ball or not. lol Assuming its just Episode of Bardock that is on the disc, I have no real reason to rush and buy the game just to see it again. lol I'll catch it when its cheap.

That's just like your opinion man.

An opinion that many do not seem to agree with. On rails games aren't very fun outside of the light gun genre.

Why does this topic still have rumor in the title? I have a feeling that this game is likely going to be some adventure game similar to Sagas, I doubt it's going to be a fighting game.

Well, it will likely use the gamer's body for the attacks/movements so it's still a fighting game.

Especially when you are like me and have been waiting for a proper lightsaber game since the Wii's inception. Come on Sony make it happen. You are our last hope! I mean you can even use the glowing-ball-thingies to match the colors of the sabers themselves. Anyway, back to Dragonball. I see this game being a very simplistic Tenkaichi/Raging Blast Styled game where you play as Goku reenacting iconic fights. Goku vs Vegeta; Super Saiyan Goku vs Freeza; SSj2 Gohan vs Cell; something with Broly; and if we're lucky a fight with Buu too. Attacks will be limited and so will movement. Don't expect much. If we can't get past C quality work on the main titles I doubt we'll see anything outside of a gimmick for the Kinect.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

If this game were to keep getting updates whenever possible, it'd get better each time, but looking back to RB/UB games, none had DLC.

Note: RB1 had DLC packs though they were just characters already existent but powered to the max, and RB2 exclusive DLC codes with the Limited Edition. Ultimate Blast? I don't remember having any DLCs.

Companies may discontinue their consoles but the homebrew communities keep the consoles alive with their apps/plugins.

Matter fact the homebrew communities made PSP an amazing portable device, I loved every single plugin I used, it was like an Xbox, i.e, listen to music while playing a game.

Were you referring to me about bashing?

So, I've looked at the Star Wars Kinect game, and honestly it doesn't look very good; it seems a bit too childish and simple. I really hope that this isn't all the Kinect is capable of, otherwise it'll be dissapointing. I think it's safe to assume that this will be a 'party' kinda game, or something not to take seriously. Unless someone can tell me about games on the Kinect which really utilise its power?

I see people saying they think it will just have iconic story fights and stuff, and similar to Tenkaichi (?), but it likely will be, as I said previously, a DBZ themed mini-game. You'll shoot blasts at Saibamen, Throw Kamehameha's at Vegeta, and other beams, and maybe even blow up Buu with gadgets playing as Hercule.

I don't think Kinect will do as well as Microsoft would like (unless they are aiming soley at child and light-hearted audiences), the system seems to gimmicky, and without a controller of some sort the possibilities seem really limited.

Bandai has a press event this week. It'll maybe be shown off there.

From Gamekult's (French video game site) Twitter coverage of the Bandai press event:

Some stuff is embargoed until the 17th. No guarantee if this is.

Edit: It has been officially announced at the press event. There was a montage of a tonne of the games from the past leading up to a question of what they haven't done yet. Kinect.

:?

Contains 30 minutes of new "exclusive" animation. Has over 50 characters. Characters can be scanned in via QR codes.

I was not at the event so I can't say.

It'll be released October 2, which makes it seem like this could be the "major" DB game this year.

I was so hyped and now if it is like Skylanders, then DAMMIT.......
Spike really know how to piss me off
I can see myself importing 50 cards from abroad for rudiculous prices thanks to the shipping fee....
Like I wanted to buy my GF the Skylanders as she was huge fan of Spyro as kid.

EDIT: I was so happy to get cool game finally on Kinect with the Star Wars.... I will probably throw the whole X360 out of the window.

This guy made me laugh
Fanof DoctorWho: You know what ? Namco Bandai just ruined the entire Dragon Ball universe.
For the PS3 Players, you put the PS3 controller ... in your ass.
AND I AM A PS3 PLAYER !

As I said in the now locked thread, I really hope this isn't the main title for this season...though given the news of its October release date it looks like it might be.

It's looking that way. I'm not sure if it's a great idea, though. Plenty of people (myself included) don't even have a Kinect. It seems counterproductive to move a franchise on the decline to a platform that makes up a smaller portion of the market.

Well, it's Spike, news in April, comes out at fall, 30 minutes of footage and Bandai pre-promotes it like upcoming awesomeness.........
I'm afraid it is this year's DB game. On the other hand, I can't see what Spike can do more ''inovative'' in fighting genre alone, after it's PS3 era fiasco.

I don't believe it's been confirmed that Spike is behind this game.
