When Debating: This and this is canon but not this and this.

When Watching: Screw canon, I'm watching these two guys in a bloody fist fight.

It's so simple and yet people seem to have difficulty wrapping their heads around a concept so simple.

I'm all for new Dragon Ball content. Why care about what's canon and non-canon when you can just sit back and watch?

That's precisely why ordinary men pursue the concept of perfection, it's infatuation. But ultimately I have to ask myself "What is the true meaning of being perfect?" and the answer I came up with was nothing. Not one thing. The truth of the matter is I despise perfection! If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Scientist's agonize over the attempt to achieve perfection! That's the kind of creatures we are! We take joy in trying to exceed our grasp, in trying to reach for something that in the end, we have to admit may in fact be unreachable!"

Something after DB/Z/GT, i.e, leaving the original characters/cast in the past, so if any die, there won't be need for replacements of VAs.

As for Goku, a new look alike should be more than enough because the original voice (Nozawa) of Goku won't be around forever.

By the way, the VA of God died (Takeshi Aono). Another original VA passed away. :(

It's time to let go off of Dragon Ball Z, Toei Animation.

Yes a Dragon Ball "Gaiden style" would be very awesome to expand on characters! Saint Seiya Lost Canvas is doing this with the Gaiden series where they release volumes specifically about an individual Gold Saint. This would expan Toriyama's already rich story.

Ehh, I'd be content with manga and or novels personally. I don't really see the need of another series, and I don't think it would do THAT great in terms of sales or viewership for some reason. Like somebody else said, one off specials are always welcome though.
