Yeah, I'm not sure who this is aimed at but it sure isn't me! I guess I'm kind of interested to see what story mode looks like.
Based on the list, I'd say it looks like damn near every other DBZ game. I do love fighting Raditz!

Yeah but what if it's like...in first person? That...might be somethin' eh?

Even the cutscenes? Maybe I'm being too presumptious in assuming this game even has cutscenes.

First person cutscenes? Doubtful. The images we currently have seem to imply that even the ultimate techniques may still use the same old standard animations from previous games once activated, instead of being first person as well:

I didn't notice that. They couldn't even be assed to make first person ultimate moves eh? Welp,it's not like this concept would have been a barrel of fun even if they did apply...basic consistent stylistic effort. I really want to know how this game got off the drawing board looking this way.

You guys do know that this is basically just going to be Dragonball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi: for Kinect, right? I don't know how they do it, but they dumbed down UT even more
Tbh though, I'd rather play this game than UT, at least it looks like doing the poses and moves with your body might guarantee some sort of fun. Maybe you'll have to move your arms apart and start screaming to transform into a Super Saiyan, eh :P

Looking at the achievement list, it looks like this game is going to be more 'mini-game'-styled, as I had previously thought, with all those 'Score Attacks' and all. And to those expecting or hoping for a PS3 version of this game, don't get your hopes up too much. They already know that they are being quite risky creating a game on such a niche franchise for an even nicher console, they want their costs to be as minimal as possible; thus they have reused models and whatever else from UT. There's no way that they'd spend more resources creating a the game for Move or anything else.

My hypothesis: The purpose of this Kinect game is merely to fulfil the contract requirements set by the geezers at Shueshia, which demand a DBZ game a year on the home consoles in order to keep making games for the franchise. So, with the decline in sales for the past couple of years, NB finally understand that they need to use more resources in order to truly please us. Thus, this Kinect game allows them to develop their real title for a year longer, two years.

This basically would mean that a lot of us aren't getting a DBZ game this year, but at least we'd potentially have a product of much higher quality in the end, right. Hypothetically speaking ofcourse. I'm not simply talking out my ass though, since Tony Shoupinou did say that there'd be three DBZ games although I can't remember if he said this year. Anyway, if this is the case, it seems like NB is finally taking this franchise seriously.

It does look like UT but it seems the graphics from now on will all have UT-ish, as for the gameplay it may still be RB/UT.

Have they shown how to turn into a Super Saiyan?

After seeing these screens, I really wish they'd just take a break from the video games.

This looks horrible. At one point we will have a Final Fanatsy gameplay that's turn-based.

That happened already. Attack of the Saiyans was some time ago, and it was pretty good.

You act like a turn-based is a bad thing? I'm a old school RPG fan and I have been playing those games since the 90's. I would love a DBZ RPG game on the 360 and PS3.

Not for me if I don't play handheld games at all.

And yes a FF turn-based gameplay would be boring and would not fit Dragonball at all. I want a fast-paced gameplay where I can control all moves.

If that's how it sounded to you it's your problem. It's solely my opinion.

I wonder if Bandai Namco will make a 360 kinect bundle with this game? Maybe we will get a Dragon Ball theme 360 that will go with the bundle?

The cel-shading is kinda rough, especially on human body, but Freeza looks well.

Well, that does exist:

I got the PS3 DBZ Skin but haven't used it on my PS3 Slim (says on the box: PS3 FAT - Original).

Though, it'd be cool to see an LE Xbox 360 S 320 GB Dragon Ball version.
