Just thought of this: since the QR cards are basically pictures they will undoubtedly appear online the day they're handed/out released making them pretty lousy pre-order incentives.
Jord doesn't have a avatar because the combination of Jord and a equally cool avatar would cause the universe to implode.

Remember how last year a few sites listed Ultimate Tenkaichi to be compatible with Kinect? This is literally what happened to that. It's like they stripped the feature (rumored?) from the game before it's release and saved it for it this year.

Part of me thinks they're purposely trying to have this game flop :?

I still want an in-depth DB game that starts from DB and ends with GT with cutscenes and BT/RB gameplay. That's all I want.
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

I could care less if the graphics look like Ulitmate Tenkaichi.

All I care about is if the game actually WORKS. As in, the controls and movements are fully responsive with no delays or anything, if so, then the game could actually be FUN.

If the "30 minute special" is Episode of Bardock, then it better be dubbed.

Must be Namco Bandai's new marketing strategy.

Playing this game with split screen multiplayer could be dangerous. Spike made the right decision not bringing it up.

It's not all that new, she was at E3 last year with Namco Bandai as well. I have no clue why, or why the teaser I posted has them doing the Konami code.

Never seen character? I smell Majin Ozotto
Well, a movie about Majin Ozotto would be 10000000000000000 times more interesting than episode of bardock, but is impossible xD

Agreed. MO looks more interesting than the whole EoB Episode/OVA.

For some reason Majin Ozotto reminds me of Hatchiyack:

Very unlikely to be Majin Ozotto, maybe Chilled, I'm guessing.

Btw, Bandai Namco should've brought up the cards' system earlier than just now.

If the all-new exclusive character isn't Chilled then I will eat the hat I am wearing.

You guys are so going to crucify me over this, but the who crap Majin Ozotto? did I miss something in the Dragonball universe
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Dragon Ball Z: V.R.V.S. was in first person too, so it would be a cool idea.

Anyways, all of this isn't an american product? It looks people from the US have asked to bandai to edit ultimate tenkaichi to do this or something like that, anyways, there isn't "japanese" news about this, only in english...

I'm calling it right now. At 0:55 of the video on the front page of the site, he says the content is new to U.S. and Europe, as in that Japan has already seen it. It's either that, the Jump Special, or the original PtES.The character will probably be SS Bardock or Chilled.

Overall, the game actually looks cooler than I initially thought looking at it. It seems fun. But now with the QR code stuff, it seems like it will cost a lot. I listened to the podcast and it does seem likely that someone will just scan all the codes and put them online. There goes that.

No multiplayer is disappointing, but understandable. That would take a ton of time to implement something like that. I hope if they do make it, it comes in a patch, not as DLC.

I can play DBZ V.R.V.S. on my PC and man, Ozotto is really a hard opponent. Boosted offense and fast attacks and nearly perfect defensive reactions. Ozotto is really a hard opponent.

Majin Ozotto ga Taosenai. I can't dodge his attacks no matter how many times I try.
Even when I get far from him and keep shooting,
I still end up getting blasted away.

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

I've seen other Kinect games which used this sort of system and just by scanning the card then printing and showing to Kinect, it works too.

It was somewhere in Digiex but now I can't find the topic.

Oh yeah, the same thing goes for PSP, printing the cards and using with the camera works also. Betting 3DS does the same.

if the animation it's episode of Bardock, PROBABLY the quality of audio and video would be a lot better than the DVD version, as the Raging Blast 2 version of erradicate the super saiyans, which is a lot better than the dvd

Yep, it's encoded in 720p HD.

Ultimate Blast cutscenes are in 720p HD not 1080p HD too, IIRC.

I won't mind seeing Majin Ozotto make a come back. It would be cool to see how they can make him into a better character. I don't think he even had his own back story in DBZ V.R.V.S?
