A couple of you guys are getting confused.

QR Cards =/ AR Cards

A QR Card is something like a barcode you'd scan on a bag of chips. It's become a very popular way to direct users on the phone to websites without having to type an address. The weird shape of the blob actually contains a pictured version of a URL, for example this is a QR code for Kanzenshuu.com:

Image

This image actually contains data.

An AR Card is something that you'd use to overlay augmented reality tech on. As far as I know, the cards actually act as triggers to open something in the software. Like say, Eye of Judgment. All of those cards are already programmed on the disc, but placing down the card acts a prompt to tell the game to summon that monster. Which means the cards themselves likely don't contain any kind of data. Which is why you can have attractive looking AR cards, where as QR Cards look gross.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Whenever a trailer uses the proper pronunciation of "Saiyan", I have to force myself to not go through the comments and correct every Funimation dub fan that singles it out as incorrect.

Wow... it looks like they aren't even trying to make a good game any more. It pains me to see the Dragonball Z name tarnished like this. Hopefully it will be easier to forget this than Dragonball Evolution.

The saddest part is that I think he pronounced it right as a mistake.

Just read some rants because of Saiyan Sans. It's common practice using freeware and free licensed fonts, pics and everything else.
Because of cheap and everyone does that, unless you are not the average company, but big one. We are doing that sometimes with books,
because the licenses and people who are translating are ten times more expensive than the production process alone.

So if you ask me, this looks pretty bad and I think this is the last DBZ game on TV consoles
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel
PS5: Dynamixx88
Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.

I wonder if Chilled will be voice by Christopher Ayres if he ends up being in the game?

I got passed that, the YouTube Dragon Ball Community is worthless, sure there's some great (few) users but overall it's no use to try reasoning with them or telling that's how Saiyan is really and correctly said.

By the way, Dragon Ball Z For Kinect is more for the west than anyone else but there's no evidence it'll be dubbed in English, if it is, then it's probably by the FUNi Kai cast.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

So it looks sorta like an interactive movie like Asura's Wrath but instead of button presses you use body movements? Might be interesting.

Scanning and making the AR/QR Card codes isn't possibly considered piracy?

The DBZ QR Codes look cool and collectibles to me, I'd like to buy one or two, but really depends on how much they cost. Hopefully not £5-10 for each, but £2-ish.

Anyway, I've scanned these two QR Codes off of my two Manga Entertainment UK Blu-rays, if anyone wants to try them and use, please do so:

It might be common practice, but it looks incredibly unprofessional for your logo to be made of a common freeware font. Especially when you consider all the stylized fonts we've had for games over the years.

You're assuming everyone knows what some random fan's online font looks like. I wouldn't have known they used "Saiyan Sans" had someone not pointed it out.

You have to admit though, the font looks cheap compared to games in the past. Hell the box art looks pretty much like they cut and pasted old material. Harsh I know but it's not their best.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Well I won't be buying this game this year or playing it. That breaks my record for not playing a main DB title since 2002. I will be picking up Resident Evil 6 in October instead.

Same here, man. I can't believe why they're limiting themselves so much putting it out for Kinect only.

and then I will decide.

The trailers/videos of Dragon Ball Z For Kinect don't exactly look good right now, but give it a chance, if you've played other Kinect titles you know Kinect is an amazing little device below your HDTV.

Fighting and doing the attacks shouldn't be a prob... Wait, after seeing a video of a guy trying to do Piccolo's Mankankosappo and not working that really sucked.

Attacks I'd like to do on Dragon Ball Z For Kinect:
- Large/Super Genki Dama
- Kamehame-Ha
- Shin-kikoho
- Taiyo-ken
- Kaio-ken
- One Hand Kamehame-Ha (Father-Son Kamehame-Ha)
- Final Flash
- Drain Energy
- Absorb No. 18 (I wish... )
- Controlling Yamucha's Spirit Ball

Non-attack but transformation:
- Turn Super Saiyan

Plus many others, but I'd like to mainly turn into a Super Saiyan.

The game should be played/experienced personally before any final thought.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray
